I'll also post some things from the server here. Cause this place is empty in my eyes
Okay so, I noticed something about Sieglinde and Lui's relationship. I gave them a certain stage of closeness each season because I like slow burning. In Turbo season, they actually see each other. Now, after their tournament match towards the end of Evolution, Lui starts to respect her, and they reach a point where they respect each other. However, even then, they do so without fully knowing each other, relying on their preconceived notions of the other. They are both close to outside and difficult to understand, so they act solely based on outward appearances.
In Turbo season, they discover that these preconceived notions are incorrect. I will now explain how this affects both of them.
I'll start with Sieglinde. As I mentioned before, Sieglinde is someone who doesn't like to appear weak. She constantly strives to be in control and tries to appear strong. Being respected by Lui satisfies these desires because Lui doesn't respect just anyone. The people he respects are always strong. If he respects Sieglinde, it means he thinks Sieglinde is strong. At least, that's the equation Sieglinde has constructed in her mind.
In Turbo Season, you know there was a match between Aiga and Lui. Well, in that match, when Lui gave Aiga, his beyblade achilles, Sieglinde was confused because she didn't expect such a move from him. This caused her to wonder "what if?" because this action shattered the image of "strong and indifferent Lui" in Sieglinde's mind and made Sieglinde even more curious about him
From Luis's perspective, he only saw Sieglinde as an interesting and powerful blader. In his mind, she was someone difficult to read and explain because she was hard to understand (even as Sieglinde's author, I can't understand her sometimes, btw). Therefore, Lui found her interesting and somewhat cared about her. (The only thing he cared about was whether or not she would participate in the tournament. Nothing more)
In the Turbo Season, the turning point was a match between Phi and Sieglinde in the tournament, where Phi provoked Sieglinde, driving her mad. In short, he made Sieglinde, who was already under stress, even worse by using words like "victim" and "pathetic," which made her feel weak. The important part for us is that Lui saw Sieglinde experiencing human emotions for the first time. What he had seen before wasn't real, but what he saw in that scene was pure and real. Seeing the person he had coded as mysterious and unreadable in his mind experiencing human emotions like panic and fear changed his perspective on her. This made her more of a human being in his eyes.
An additional note: Sieglinde liked that Lui respected her, but she hated that she liked it because the idea that her own sense of power would depend on his respect terrified her
