There are certain moments in life that make you feel more alive than anything else in the world. Sunsets. Sunrises after you’ve been up all night. First kisses. When you hear a new song for the first time and know that it will be one of your favorites. Waking up on a weekend with nothing to do but be happy. Dancing for the fun of it, alone in your room, knowing that no one can see you and no one can judge you.

You don’t have to explain yourself to everyone.

When you can tell your story and it doesn’t make you cry, that’s when you know you’ve healed.

You have to meet people where they are, and sometimes you have to leave them there.

I find it ridiculous how society has made us believe that we need to be in a relationship to feel complete, important and loved. It kind of kills the whole idea of a loving relationship, one that is full of love and passion, one where not even a million pictures, gifts or bragging on social media could prove how deeply the love for each other sparks amongst others. Love was not meant for filling the loneliness or pleasing the media but for feeling alive.

Have you ever been told you’re “Too Much”? Too intense, too emotional, too personal, too wild, weird, crazy, sensitive, insatiable, not enough of one thing & too much of everything?… Good! Your too-muchness is exactly the kick the world needs to wake the hell up and be more than a shadow of better times. So don’t silence your excesses, don’t try to become less in order to fit in with the dead. Your creation will be richer, your art will have more heart, your story, more epic, thanks to your intensity.

And if people were weather, he’d be the snow; beautiful, yet cold.

Don’t ever think a man loves you because he keeps coming back. That man loves the power he has over you. He knows you’ll take him back.
