He's not only a genius who figured out how to use hyperspace, how to nuclear fission punch and gravity knuckles and even Quantum mechanics on the fly after gaining knowledge of all the energies in the universe, all the while fighting the strongest being in the universe and envisioned a technique that could warp back in time. Despite not having the power to perform such a feat.

His convictions and resolve and martial arts impressed even Saitama, who was so far beyond him at that point that he may as well be past Godhood and did not actually care about what happened from that point onward. But Garou's resolve changed his mind.

In this resolve, he chose to sacrifice himself for the most noble cause, so the ominous future he set out to bring forth in disillusionment would not come to pass. His resolve to redeem himself and make sure the world he envisioned for kids like Tareo would still be possible to attain.

To save the world from ominous future. And to save it's inhabitants and make the world a better place.

And to save Saitama from himself.

He made the ultimate sacrifice. And he succeeded and stopped the ominous future from happening.
