Cooking in the kitchen, making lunch boxes, our laughter, warm weather, insects chirping on hot summer days... I’m grateful for each and every small thing that surrounds my life. Cheers to us, and our lives. “Making lunch boxes” The history with my Japanese husband dates back to a little fling we had in Korea. Now, we are here in Japan. Next thing you know, I’m making his lunch boxes everyday. This repetitive routine that could’ve easily become boring has actually been giving me a different perspective about life. I’m learning and growing everyday thanks to these experiences. “Strolling around the kitchen” My kitchen, where I spend most of my time in a day. Those hours I spend there fill my life with abundance. Clattering dishes, a soup boiling over, and all those hours cooking for someone will eventually turn into something greater than just a plate of food. To me, a kitchen is more than just a place for cooking.
