Sometimes I don’t know what to think or what to say. Lost in a world within my head. Where I live to breath out the words of beauty defined by the rhythmic beat of my soul. Powered by the dancing feet that lack a decent step. A song sung from the depth of my heart. A brain that lacks the verbal communication skills of a genius. The blinking of a blind eye that only sees the colors behind the dark eyelids. A mouth that speaks words ears can not understand. Mountains that grow higher with each step taken towards the top. Dreams unfulfilled with the happy thoughts of what could have been. Where death is overshadowed by the joy and smiles of that persons life. Stories told that give an unfamiliar truth to the lies I once told. Toxic air that makes me love the one that once broke me. A heart so broken I failed to put it back together. Suspicious of the days that never seem to go by. Nights where I don’t sleep because of the fear that travels through my veins. Vulnerable to the touch of the wind afraid of its power. A restraint from the living only the dead can go through. 

Reading old messages old feeling come to surface. Being lost in the misery of his touch, feigning for the hunger of his lips on your skin. A broken heart longing to be broken again. Stream of tears begging not be wiped away. A constant memory of each tear of your skin his harsh words put on your back. You go back for more. Loving the way he mistreats you. The dead energy you feel when he rapes your body with his fist. Can nothing compare to the smile it bring on his face to see you hurting? The way he gets off to the concussions you get. Banging your head on the cement covering the wooden steps. Black eyes and broken ribs. Stuck in a house without a way out. Old letters he used to write before he went insane. Silent slurred words shouting out from his alcoholic body movements. Help is what he needs but you love the way it hurts. No doctor can treat your broken heart from this man’s ways. You sleep with his body touching yours for comfort. Heart aches from the love you no longer receive. A dead man’s wishes coming true. Heart shaped bruises on your upper thigh. This isn’t love. Torn between the lies and deceit. Everything in you wants him even more. You can’t let go of his razor sharp hands. Afraid if you let him go you’ll fall. A deep depression from your peeling skull. Death peers around the corner every time he comes home. Wanting you to touch him in no desire way. Not satisfied until you’re laid in the ground. One breathless body covered in old scars and bruises left permanent from a lifeless love.
