i am not one to judge someone’s takes but it always makes me giggle a little when i see someone say that people always hate on women a lot for no reason especially stereotypical annoying women in media, i’ve seen people say this a lot and while i definitely do agree i will say that when i really excruciatingly hate on a character its often not just a woman. a random guy from a shitty show i’m watching that is making the most excruciatingly stupid and fucking selfish decisions ever? man, i honestly want him dead!!! a woman who neglects to take her children into account in enjoying her lost youth and proceeds to subject her children to neglect? man, i still want them dead!!! sometimes a character that pisses me off is just a character that pisses me off, not just bc of gender but rather because it brings me physical pain trying to watch them stumble through awful decisions
