Please don’t think that being 27, struggling financially and not knowing what’s ahead means you’ve failed or that you’re behind. Everyone’s timeline is different. Your rizq is written, your qadr is written, and what is meant for you will reach you at the time Allah has decreed. Have tawakkul, but keep taking the means too. Set yourself goals, make a plan and take it one step at a time. And try to count the blessings you already have: family around you, a roof over your head, food to eat, eyes to see, ears to hear, and another day to try again. Those blessings don’t erase your struggles, but they can remind you that there is still so much mercy in your life. You are not a burden because you’re struggling, and you are not behind. This is just one chapter of your story.
