we really need to be more comfortable with complaining privately, the internet has turned "ugh [xyz topic/person] is so annoying" into a public spectacle that everyone must be subjected to just for the sake of sowing discourse and I'm tired of it man. fandom spaces have become so negative and near treacherous to navigate because everyone thinks they need to be LOUD about their most negative opinions. the internet rewards you for haterism in engagement and clout, be it negative or positive, and it's so damn tiring
