I ended up using the view camera to create a number of photos for this project. I experimented with traditional 8x10 black and white film and also the Impossible Project instant 8x10 film.

New portrait work... Jonah

New book from our adventures last spring in New Mexico... a sort of road trip journal and sketchbook. Maisy contributed drawings and few photos from heather this time in addition to mine. My favorite part is seeing the process to completion from shoot to edit to printed document. Here are a few of my favorite spreads. 

The skies became dark but we kept moving along highway 55 as the storms rolled through the Mississippi Delta in Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas. (From road trip journal in May) .

Long weekends...

Spent the last couple of days making prints at the studio while updating my portfolio. There is a nice sort of solitude that I embrace when working long days at the studio.
