[♥] - Mikan had herself leant on the walls of Hope’s Peak Academy and whimpering as she tried to bring herself down from panic. Her attempts are futile however, she hears the click-clack of footsteps and she crumbles to the ground. She doesn’t want to be seen, not like this. But at the same time she doesn’t feel like she has the energy to move anywhere; she feels trapped and it makes her cry harder. She has no clue who is near by or if they are even going to notice her at all, but when all the worst-case scenarios play through her head all she feels she can do is cry about it.

Of all the things she expected to see during her casual walk, a crying, shambling figure of a person was particularly one of them. The sight is entirely pitiful in every sense of the word; and yet, like a magnet for despair, Junko found herself drawn closer.

She approached as the figure fell to the floor in a complete sob. The sight was abysmal in every beautiful sense of the word, and it even begun to trigger an empathetic reaction in Junko.
