I can’t stand how everyone hates on Cars so much. I mean everyone’s allowed an opinion, but the amount of hate Cars gets goes beyond that. I’ve seen countless people complaining about how it’s ‘the worst Pixar movie’ and none of they can give any reason. I mean, people can hate it, I don’t care if they do, but why does the hatedom for Cars in particular have to be so widespread? What is it about the movie? It’s always upset me when people criticise it, because it’s one of my favourite movies.

I’m also so, so done with people who call it “Pixar’s worst/weakest franchise.” No. It’s not. Okay fine, maybe in terms of dynamics and such one could argue The Incredibles or Toy Story 2/3 were the best. But in my opinion? All three Cars movies–yes, even Cars 2–were some of THE BEST movies put out by Pixar. And if it’s so bad then why does it have 3 movies and so many spinoffs? And don’t give me that “it’s for toys!” crap. Go study animation and then you may come back and whine about it to me.

I pity those who have to constantly hate on it

I don’t mind people disliking Cars. But I will never understand the widespread hate this franchise and its fans get.

I’ll admit, the worldbuilding is questionable, but the amount of shit this movie gets solely for being about living vehicles is beyond me. There’s nothing wrong with not liking the movies, but the amount of hatred it gets is wild.
