When I tell you this song had me in tears tonight I'm not exaggerating. . .

I heard it in a CVS, hadn't heard it in so many years! I put it on in my car on the way home, and sang my little heart out sobbing.

It had me in all the feels from my separation, and eventual divorce, also years and years ago.

I'm always amazed at how much music can affect me, how many memories can come from something technically unrelated, but so familiar. Does this ever happen to you? Am I overly sensitive?

Welp. Apparently it doesn't matter how much time passes. This morning I cried on the way to work listening to this song. Held myself together because I didn't want to look a mess in the office. But damn, it touches a nerve every time.
