Why am I so gone on these dummies?

I don't think I have ever felt less excited for an upcoming episode than I do for 8x09. This stupid Game Changer crossover has messed up my Tumblr feed!

I don't know what Game Changer is. Never even heard of it. Probably because I live in China, I often miss out on new things. Seriously, I have no idea what new movies, songs, and TV shows are happening most of the time.

But it could not be more clear to me that this crossover is not a match made in heaven, or maybe even a match at all? Since last week, I have kept having to scroll past people bashing The Rookie. Seems that Game Changer has been vocal about their dislike of the police, so their fans do not approve of a collab with "copoganda."

I am a progressive, liberal person. I have my issues with the way policing is done in the US. And even though I don't live there now, I know for sure that when I am there, I have the immense privilege of being white when it comes to my interactions with the police.

My mom was also a criminal justice professor, and I grew up watching cop shows with her. She educated me on what was not correct. So I do have that advantage as well. The reason that I started watching The Rookie in the first place was that she and I loved Castle.

Anyway, I digress... I am ready for this episode to be over so I can go back to enjoying my show and my Tumblr feed without constantly scrolling past posts bashing my show!

We get it! Game Changers fans are not happy. As a Rookie fan, I am not happy! Why collab with a channel that will probably turn around and badmouth you in a few weeks' time? What a terrible idea this has been.

I'm not tagging that channel or anything, because this post isn't for Game Changers fans. I'm sure this week, they are also pissed off at having to see posts from Rookie fans gushing about their favorite show. But at least hopefully, those posts would have a positive focus.

Tim was saying she is sending photos of old Cosmo magazines she has lying around. Making me think she is back at her home. I am assuming that she doesn’t live close by if she was bringing suitcases to visit her kids.
