Unfortunately, my idea to have the end shot shown on an old TV and then another housewife watching, although it would’ve looked amazing, unfortunately, no place sells HDMI to SCART adapter cables and it’s a bit too late now to try to comp it in. But I’m glad I gave this idea a try..
So now it’s just finishing touches and I’m ready to submit

Trying to find a suitable TV so I can start fiming
No luck.. Unfortunately this TV is a bit too old as we don’t have an hdmi converter to it, so I went for a lookout this one was the one I could find at the library but again same problem..Â
So when I put the idea out in my course, Jess said that Pol an has a tv she can bring in, I’d need HDMI to RCA adapter though so now I’m in uni and I’m on the lookout
so a track out shot like that, from the tv to a person looking at it

fixed it!! :) created a new node and started all over, played around with levels as well like Garaint thought me yesterday, still amazed by how much you can manipulate the colours once you get the hang of it
Gafyn told me how to add film grain, but seems like that with the 15 version it is not available for free.. so what I’m going to do once I’m happy with my grade is that I’m going to export it from DaVinci and then import it back to Premiere where I can add my grain presetÂ
I created a new node and tracked her lips to make sure it’s not affecting inside her nose or anything like that, playing around with curves to see what tone of red would suit best
having some issues with this clip, as I have picked up the colour of her lips to be more saturated, it picked up the same colours from her tongue making this mask a really wobbly noisy one..
this was the first exported colour grade, has some weird bits to it like the lips being noisy because I’ve picked the colour and boosted it up so got to fix my masks

I like them both but I feel like because there’s already so much yellow in the shot the bottom one let’s the yellow to have its “moment” but then again the upper one is more true to 50s
trying to bring more life to the grade, not too sure which shot I prefer the family sit down one that has more saturation or the one where the mom is stood up and has more cool downedÂ
