“Look, my shift doesn’t start for another 30 minutes, so I officially don’t have to be nice for another half hour. You might want to keep that in mind before you open your fucking mouth again.”

“Well damn. I guess I better sabotage your moves then. Now where did I put those banana peels…”

“No, that’s cheating!”

“Do you know the basics of pool or ?” Daisy asked as she picked up her pool stick. “Its totally fine if you don’t.”

“Uh, no, not really. I’ve... Never played.”

“Am I about to be out-danced here?”

“You most definitely are!”

“Solid no thanks”

Julia nodded reassuring himself and the girl in front of her. “I was just leaving my shift, I guess I got a little too excited and forgot where I was going. Are you okay?” 

“Oh, that’s okay, no harm done. Yeah, yeah, I’m fine. I didn’t fall, I’m okay.”

“I’ll teach you. No worries at all.” Her smile warm.

“Okay, thanks.”

“Don’t you ever just want to be naked sometimes?” 

“No.. Not really. I mean, not in public anyway..”

“You need to lay off, okay? Before I break every bone in your fucking body.”

“Sorry-- I didn’t mean to.. Are you okay?”

“I-- Okay?”

Maria stumbled back after colliding into someone, shaking her head, “No, no, it’s okay. Sorry. Are you alright?”

“You hardly got into trouble.”
