HELLO!! first of all, it’s been a rough week so i hope you’re all safe and feeling good. last saturday i went to see the first episode of versailles and i loved it! there were things that i didn’t like... actually just... 1 specific thing lmao but i loved everything else so much that i forgave them for that
anyways the first episode was a bit confusing, and i was afraid all episodes were going to be like that, but i watched the second and third ones today (in french, i understood some things but i will watch the fourth when it’s out in english) and it was much better, so i’m very excited to see where they go with it <3 so far i’m happy and i especially love how they portrayed lorraine (& philippe), many things are like i wanted them to be! but anyways i recommend not to expect everything to be super historically accurate because it’s not, like in every historical drama tbh :(
i can’t wait to see more... i hope i can watch it in english or spanish soon ;; and i hope you like it too! as i said the first episode is a bit clumsy but it seems it gets better <3
