I love football for its rejection of American enshitification. And I’ll give the tournament (never FIFA) its props. This year’s expansion of the teams — and as a result global fandom— has been so rad to watch and and a beautiful demonstration of what the world could look like without our demonic governments.
But everything else from this tournament that had to do with the U.S. including: the commercials, the fuck ass rings, the dry ass pitches, the whack ass half time show, excessive panning to molten faced celebrities, the insufferable sports commentary, and that fascist bitch making sure his repulsive paws were all over this shit…
