The Diverging Path

Idk if y’all remember, but last year I posted this huge traditional picture I made of this really cool BNHA fic called “The Diverging Path” over on AO3. I think i improved a lot, thanks to the help of my tablet :P But thanks to the announcement of Season 5 coming up in March, I’m slowly crawling back into this fandom again. While the fanfic I mentioned hasn’t updated in quite a few months, I still recommend giving it a read! I believe some stuff happened in their personal life, so that’s why they were taking a long break. Also, I’m not into Naruto but if you like it I also recommend checking out Mari/Mira’s main blog I’ll link below! Anyways, that’s enough out of me. Here’s all the original characters that showed up in Chapter 11, Part 2!

Me, realizing I didn’t post this earlier this week, shit, shit, shit– Sorry guys! It’s short today but it’s a doozy ;)

At that moment the doors to the USJ slam open and Izuku gasps as he can move again. He flings the mirror out, watching it expand as he twists around to stare at the entrance.

All Might and the whole roster of U.A. teachers step forward.

Izuku feels no comfort at the sight.

All Might isn’t smiling.

He’s scowling, throwing off his suit jacket as he glares down at them.

Izuku starts to laugh hysterically as tears drip down his cheeks.

He thinks we’re villains.

The pool of blood around him and Three doesn’t help.

Specter shrieks again, but his focus is on the three villains, not All Might.

Izuku watches as the shape of his hero blurs and the few remaining thugs around the plaza drop. He grabs Three and bends his body over the other boy, bracing for the full impact of All Might’s fist.

It doesn’t land.

Izuku looks up. The expanded mirror pad is in front of him and standing there is…

Kirishima chokes and his eyes unfocus.

“If it makes you feel better,” Izuku leans over his face, watching as his eyes close for longer and longer, “we really were sent to evacuate you. We aren’t going to kill All Might.”

 I know this looks incredibly cheesy, and it is :P I really wanted to emphasize the positive impact that Isao, Mina, and HIIVE in general helped him when he needed it the most! Still cheesy even when I explain it though! Another thing I want to address is apologizing if I got anything wrong with what your original characters look like! I used their introductory descriptions to help me, but I still feel like I got some things wrong with their designs << Also everyone’s cheerful and having a good time except for Constructor and Sphinx, who are individually having a panic attack over Hazmat possibly about to blow them all sky high but what can you do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I really am excited to see where this story goes! I know future chapters will get better and better, so not only am I excited, but I also expect a ton of people to discover and enjoy your story too! All we ask is that you take care of yourself and to not be afraid to take breaks or relax!
