âI know that change can be scary sometimes but there are some things you just donât mess with and anything Henry Cavill has blessed is one of those things. That man can play any role and you know its going to be magnificent. Despite all the shite that he got for the DCU, I quite personally loved him as Superman, which makes it so hard for me to accept that he will no longer play that role going forward. Iâm willing to give the new studios a chance to see what they do with it but it better be damn good.â He stated, nodding his head. He couldnât quite put his finger on why things were so easy between them, why he didnât feel like he had to hide this side of himself. Apart from Taylor, Margot was the only other person who knew this side of him and while it didnât make him nervous, he did wonder what it was about her that made him feel so open. She was so special and he could tell that their friendship and whatever else developed between them was going to be as equally special. Besides, the accent didnât hurt either. âI have never had that situation occur personally but I would not hesitate to quit or walk away from a project that I felt no longer fit the ideals and beliefs that I felt they should or if they strayed too far from the original narrative. And before you say anything, The Idea of You wasnât my fault.â
When she leaned in, he chuckled but met her halfway, eyes boring into her as they narrowed slightly, waiting to see just what house she aligned herself with. Her choice wouldnât matter, they were still going out for coffee, but it might lead to some very in depth conversation that a simple cuppa wouldnât be able to handle. He had no where else to be but a busy leading lady like Margot probably didnât have the time to go into hours long debates on Game of Thrones, which if he were being honest, was kind of bumming him out but he was going to cherish whatever time he got with the beautiful Australian. While he had guessed she wouldnât be House Lannister, her choice did surprise him. âVery interesting. I see your point, however, the Starks had a bit of a unlucky streak throughout most, if not all, seasons. Sure, all of it undeserved and at the hands of the Devil herself, but some could argue that thatâs not a very worthy House as a result. Every time you turned around, it was something new and precarious involving one of the Stark children. Still want to align yourself with them?â He asked, waiting for her response to which she nodded. A small smile crept onto his face. âGood answer. Despite all of that negativity and brutality thrust upon them, hey never faltered, never gave up. They persevered and not only grew stronger as individuals but as a family and if that doesnât deserve our loyalty and bending of the knee, then I donât know who does.â He finished, turning the key in the ignition. âStark blood eh? That explains so much about you." He smirked, giving her a playful wink again. "And for the record, I wouldnât have judged your decision at all but if youâd said Lannister, we would have gotten drive through coffee instead.â
