Pop Music in Me
A genre that is popular among teenagers that originated in its modern form during the mid-1950s in the United States and the United Kingdom.  It is define by David Hatch and Stephen Millward  as "a body of music which is distinguishable from popular, jazz, and folk music". According to Pete Seeger, pop music is "professional music which draws upon both folk music and fine arts music" while David Boyle, a music researcher, states pop music as any type of music that a person has been exposed to by the mass media. The music genre I’m always listening that effectively gives me peace of mind and reduces the bitter feeling in me.
I usually listen to pinoy, american, and korean pop music as long as it suites my song type which hardly influences teens’ mood or state of mind.
