“which should come out of no one’s mouth ever,” she stifled a small, judging laugh.

“It.....just came out of his mouth. I feel like I’m at one of those.....things people always talk about, the reunions with family and that one drunk uncle.”

“So sick of everyone but us, to be honest.”

A hum formed in her throat as her hand ran higher into her girlfriend’s curls, flexing softly and breathing her in as she drug her lips over her jaw line, down to her neck to kiss softly. Her words had her breath hitching, more so as she felt that nudge against her neck and she returned it before she turned more to find her lips, kissing her chin softly in her path to find them. “My Babylove.” she whispered, guiding her gently more onto her back as she kissed her, soft and slow, savoring her taste and feeling her chest cave against Marley’s as she straddled her stomach, moving her free hand to rest over her heart.

Her lips on her neck....and God, Marley’s right hand moved up Nyx’s spine, tracing bare skin beneath the sheet to thread into her curls as their nudge was given back to her, making her smile and her stomach twist. The feeling only amplified as she met Nyx’s lips, found her taste with a soft stroke of her tongue that weakened her completely, at least she thought, until she heard her words and caved impossibly more against her body. Her breath left her as she was moved more to her back, the most beautiful woman in the world straddling her and making her thighs lock more as her hips rolled softly, her right hand tangled in Nyx’s hair and her left moving to cover her lover’s over her heart and she flexed her grip there, lifting her head from the pillow more to meet her lips deeper, teeth biting at her bottom lip and raking over tender flesh.

“Agreed. Perhaps we could beat the shit out of them if they try once more?” Paige joked, but raised a brow at the lady’s following words. “Low tolerance for people, eh? So that really exists? Do you think that guy came here with friends? Ah, shit. Look. He’s up for two more songs, I think.”

“Judging by the way he’s dressed like a frat boy, not to categorize but.....I’d say he’s here with a few, probably all too drunk to realize their bro is crying while singing the Coyote Ugly soundtrack.” She chuckles, sure enough her eyes going to the table of guys in the corner, easily college completely sloshed and making a mess with overflowing pitcher of beer every time their rowdiness knocked the table. As a bartender it irked her and she moved her eyes to the bar counter with darker eyes before she heard the woman and looked back to her. “Oh. Fuck. No.”

“Mmm, Merry Christmas, beautiful. I always need you.”

Peeking out a little from under her girlfriend’s curls....she felt that bite, her cheek pressed to Nyx’s and she felt it and her thighs locked a little tighter. “Beautiful Girl.” She murmurs, nudging her nose lightly into her girlfriend’s neck.

Paige stifled a laugh. “Great words to describe the note. But yes, that’s what I meant by note.” Paige laughed, shaking her head. “Do you have low tolerance for people who try hard singing? And dude, the guy must’ve been so drunk. He’s going to have a damaged vocal cords by tomorrow.”

“Ah, then it was a perfect note that let’s hope we never hear again.” Marley concedes, smiling lightly with a small shrug. “I have a low tolerance for people in general but yes, for people who don’t realize they shouldn’t be singing for the masses. Shoulda kept it in the shower; he’s definitely going to need that steam for the vocal cords tomorrow.”

“It was nice hearing that last note. I mean, it’s still a looooot better than my life.”

“If by note you mean the sound a teenage boy makes when he’s kicked in the nuts......don’t sell your life that short.”
