The summer colors make everything magical. This amazing wedding is held between Tuscany and Umbria, perfect location that Róisín & Ben came from Dublin Ireland chose to share with the families and friends a very special day, the wedding day in Italian style. Our photo session started in the morning with the preparations in the beautiful Agriturismo "Villa Baroncino", situated near the lake Trasimeno and not far from Cortona, the atmosphere was immediately festive and all very excited for the event... The religious ceremony took place in the beautiful Cathedral of Cortona the most beautiful church of the town. At the end of the ceremony a little break for all with a good ice cream and then ready for our photo session in the center of the city and in the countryside with only the couple. Returned at the villa a beautiful a Vespa anni 60 was waiting us for photos in vintage style. The rest of the party in the villa with dinner and dancing. Beautiful wedding, Auguri Congratulation! On April 30th Villa San Crispolto hosted Tanya Denmark and Chris Yorkston, two young and very nice guys, and their really nice families too. It was a very special wedding and knowing them has been a gift and an honor for us... Looking at their parents' smiles taught us how important is love and care for each other... A beautiful wedding in Umbria Tuscany. Lydia and Toby came from from Princes Risborough Buckinghamshire, the UK. Today we are on the border between the regions of Tuscany and Umbria and exactly at Tuoro near Lake Trasimeno and a few minutes drive from the famous medieval town of Cortona one of the most famous villages of Tuscany. The photographic session began with the couple's preparations at Agriturismo "Villa Baroncino", everyone was very excited by the approach of the most important moment of the day, the wedding ceremony. Beautiful was the setting for the ceremony it was a really special scenery, rich of flowers and with a splendid view of Olive trees, cypresses and vineyard. At the end of the ceremony, while the guests enjoyed a good aperitif in the garden, we ready to start with our photo session around the Villa. The evening continued with dinner in the marquee of the villa, cutting of the cake and a crazy party. Very busy day but amazing, big congratulations guys. Lauren & Jake (Ohio) Wedding in Cortona & Villa San Crispolto, Tuscany, Italy Wedding in the historic Cortona. Originally an Umbrian city, it was conquered and enlarged by the Etruscans, who called it Curtun. The name should be related to a family of Indo-European word, with the meaning of "enclosed place" and consequently walled city like German garden, Italian orto, English gird and yard, Slavic grad and the ancient town of Gordium in Anatolia. During the 7th century BC, it joined the Etruscan League. Following the Italian Wars of Independence, Tuscany Cortona included became part of the Kingdom of Italy. From this brief historical note, we appreciate that the location chosen by Lauren and Jake for the wedding celebration is really a special place, for Italians but from today also for them... The long day began with preparations in the enchanting villa San Crispolto located in Passignano a few minutes drive from Cortona. The photo shoot had various phases, first some pictures of the details and then the groom's preparations with his friends and then in the wedding suite for the bride get ready. The ceremony as mentioned before was celebrated in Cortona in the beautiful Roman Catholic Cathedral. At the end, of the ceremony, the photo shooting continued with some shots in the historic center of Cortona and then a stop in the fields with some country-style photos and then also by the lake near Tuoro before returning to the villa for the party. The evening continued with dinner in the marquee with traditional speeches and then cutting the cake in the courtyard of the villa, where was held also the first dance with romantic lights. Mary and Cormac came all the way from from Dublin Ireland. Today we are on the border between the regions of Tuscany and Umbria and precisely at Passignano, near Lake Trasimeno and a few minutes drive from the famous medieval town of Cortona. The location chosen for the Mary & Cormac's wedding is the Agriturismo "Villa San Crispolto", a very pretty and quiet farmhouse in the hills of Passignano. The day began with the photos of the preparations at the villa in a very relaxed atmosphere, at the end of preparations both the groom and the guests have traveled by bus that took them to Cortona for the ceremony while the bride arrived a little later with a beautiful Range Rover. The religious ceremony took place in the beautiful and historic Cathedral of Cortona, at the end, photos just outside the church to greet the guests and then in the stairs of Cortona Town Hall, were waiting in the square aside of the family and friendsthere were many tourists... While the guests reach the villa for the aperitif, we have had time for our photo session, first some shots in the beautiful Cortona and then along the way from Cortona to Villa San Crispolto with some stops in the countryside and in by an old peer by the lake for photos, before to return to the villa to start the big party. Arrived at the villa aperitifs in the garden and group photos, then all inside the marquee for dinner and speeches. During dinner, we also had the opportunity to take some pictures at sunset before continuing with cutting the cake and the first dance. Great big day for Chelsea and Jesse, from Miami Beach Florida USA after a year of planning finally the big day has arrived! Today we are in a beautiful and historic Agriturismo "Villa Baroncino" in the area of Lake Trasimeno, center Italy near Cortona, where this super lovely couple has decided to celebrate their wedding. The photographic session began with the usual preparations in the villa just before the ceremony, the atmosphere was very friendly and fun, everyone was very happy and excited about the party that was about to start. Completed the preparations already for the blessing ceremony that was held in the beautiful garden in front of the villa. At the end of the ceremonial blessing a great photo with the launch of the petals to celebrate the new couple and a big group photo with all the guest, very scenic pics, immediately after an aperitif in the garden served by a small truck made with a restored "vintage APE" and then a wedding lunch in the marquee. The photo session with the couple was held during a break at the lunch everything was so amzing and the evening continued with cutting the cake and the disco dance. A memorable wedding day in Italy. Wedding at Villa Baroncino, Tuoro, Perugia, Umbria, Italy Everchanging, untouched landscapes in the green of winding valleys make Umbria, at the heart of the "Bella Italia", a region perfect dream wedding destination. The location where we are today is the beautiful Villa Baroncino, in the quiet and natural countryside at Tuoro Sul Trasimeno, just a few minutes from the Lake Trasimeno. The photo shoot started at the villa in the early afternoon with the couple's preparations. The ceremony was set up in the garden of the villa, a good idea to use the umbrellas as protection from the sun, it was really hot! At the end of the ceremony group photos and a good cold Prosecco in the garden, to following the wedding dinner in the marquee with the traditional speeches. The photo session with only the couple took place on the estate of the villa in a break during dinner, a sensible choice both for the heat but also for the sunset light that is more beautiful for the photos. Symbolic wedding ceremony at Villa San Crispolto, Lake Trasimeno, Perugia, Umbria, Italy Today I am with this nice and brilliant couple from the United States and through this images I tell their magical wedding day in Italy. The location of this event was the beautiful Villa San Crispolto located on the hills near Lake Trasimeno who follows my blog has seen that I have published several weddings made in this beautiful place. The day began with the photos of the last moments of the getting ready in the villa, the bride with the bridesmaids on the wedding suite and the groom with the groomsmen on the apartments, while the blessing ceremony was held in the "temple of love" located in the garden of the villa a permanent structure designed specifically for this type of ceremony. Our photo session after the ceremony was held outside the villa, after a few minutes by car we get to the location to start our photo shooting, first with photos in the vineyards and then around the lake. Back to the villa aperitif around the pool and then ready for the wedding dinner in the marquee. That evening we had an extraordinary sunset and could not miss a romantic photo.
