reylo + kyloâs most memorable/my personal favorite lines to rey.
Heâs such a mess đđđ
day and night the gravest foes    still none have seen them waging wars     leaves the day, oh the fading gleams   and the night comes with his shining stars  they share their time like sons their will each day their crown, mutely they change the day of his light, and of darkness gloats night yet still dwells there a bond too strange what if they were to coexist the blackened rays and the daylightâs spark would their spring like humans be the glittering face, and the heart dark             - Kanav Justa

She had not always known the shape of him.Â
She had loved the version of him sheâd constructed for herself. She had admired him. She had idolized him. She had adored an idea of him, an archetype, a version of him that was invulnerable.
âŚ
But now she knew the truth, she knew the realness of Altan and his vulnerabilities and most of all his pain ⌠and still she loved him.
She had mirrored herself against him, molded herself after him; ⌠She had emulated his cruelty, his hatred, and his vulnerability. She knew him, finally knew all of him, and that was how she found him.
(The Poppy War, R.F. Kuang)
Fang Runin âI believe in gods as a cultural reference. As metaphors. As things we refer to keep us safe because we canât do anything else, as manifestations of our neuroses. quick fanart of Rin to express how stunned I am after finishing the book. IT WAS BLOODY BRILLIANT. HOLY FUCK I find itâs funny how many people got disturbed because of the rape, the gore, and the decision Rin made to her body, theyâre at war, what do you expect? "Only a child would assume a war could end so quickly, or so bloodlessly.â seriously, you can go and play house dolls somewhere else, this book is not for you. I need to rest for my brain to adjust after pulling hours reading it nonstop, I just couldnât put in down. I will share my thoughts tomorrow. Yes, a total 5 stars from me.
