begging yall to check the source of the information you provide before you start screaming that a piece of information isn't just a thing from the movies. Cause I followed that link, and you know where that file is from? THE MOVIES. It's a movie prop.

To name an example, Lily: first it was Karen Gillan, then she got “too old”, then it was Sophie Skelton, now she got “too old”, now it’s this toss up between Annalise Basso and Faith Collins (I even remember coming across a moodboard that featured the usual 2012 guys + Harley Haisley as Lily… Ben/“Sirius” and Andrew/“Remus” are almost if not already old enough to be her dad).

I agree that a woman in her 30’s and 40’s would be too old to play a high school student, but so would a man (which is the reason why the Marauders era fancast happened in the first place), and I’m not seeing much of this same energy be given to male fancasts.

But what are everyone else’s thoughts on this? I’d like to hear them.

The timid, poor, boy dressed in feminine clothing, has feminine handwriting, was made fun of for crying, we're making him the villain? Like Mulciber is right there.

Plus, know so much about him, he is inherently a canon character, you literally cannot "fuck JKR" with him or you're making him OOC. Fanon Severus doesn't exist, OOC Severus does.

Please tag OOC Severus, I genuinely hate all these butchered characterizations of him. I won't avoid it obviously because most Mauraders fans are incapable of writing accurate Severus characterizations but I do want to at least be prepared.

Oh James knows how to calm down Regulus when he's breaking down? Or recognize when he's overstimulated? Yeah aw, that's so cute whatever but do you know how James learned all this? SIRIUS TOLD HIM AND I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL.

Oh James is the only one Regulus accepts physical affection from? That's cute how James was patient until he opened up but he was BUILT accepting Sirius's side hugs and hair ruffles. Like Regulus doesn't even realize they're touching until someone points it out and even then, he doesn't realize what's so weird about it.

James is the first person Regulus ever said "I love you" to but he learned unconditional love from Sirius. (Until he became a DE lol, then it wasn't unconditional anymore (I mean it still was, but Regulus doesn't know that))

Please, he has a brother that loves him, PLEASE DONT ERASE THAT.

like sometimes in ffs characters will do something ooc or move forward too fast or whatever and sometimes I find that annoying as well but I also just shrug and go, it's fandom, it's people having fun in their free time, I'm not gonna judge them
