i was physically *in bed* with two others and just refused them for whatever instinct told me not to engage further. if i feel comfortable i might've stayed sleeping there fully clothed if not, i'm going home.

by the way. yes i believe he and you should be able to sleep next to each other first without taking any clothing item off and without engaging in intimacy. real love is safety, not crazy uncontrollable lust. let me tell you this lust diminishes after a few years together.
