Is Andover ever coming out? :(

I promise, that one day, Andover will come out. But it will not be soon. But I hope that the games that come before Andover will make the wait all the more bareable :)

What was the original backstory for the game? Was it really that developed or did things just sorted themselves out during the creation of it?

The original main character was named “Caleb”, and he was a super bad ass veteran demon hunter. Zipp was originally a chubby “Watson” type character who was a human but revealed himself to be a demon later in the game and turn on you.

Caleb went from a bad ass demon hunter to Anselm, the loser.

As you can tell, we ended up with a very different dymamic with just the two main characters. The rest of the story was going to be pretty much the same.

But the story evolves as the game development progresses. The story changes as long as the game is unfinshed, we make changes constantly to help fit the situation and mechanics of the game.

Hello! I'm excited to hear Salem HD is coming. How HD will it be? I imagine you can do a lot more with Unity than with Flash. And the Flash version already looked great!

All art is being re-done. All new character animations, effects and pentagrams.

The script is 3 times as long and reveals even more about the story behind the mysterious town.

Levels are much longer and the bosses have been expanded. Mogrimm is now 3 phases long and you must chase him through the sewers. (Actually, more like he chases YOU)

Salem will be targetting 1080p resolutions. And because of its sidescrolling nature, we’re targeting 16:9 and 21:9(Ultrawide monitor) aspect ratios.

Hi! I just played Salem, and I LOVED it! Zipp(elnum) was a really great character, (he actually reminds me of a character from a story I wrote! He's an undead Demon, too. I'll post some links later!) and I DEFINITELY want to see more of him. Anselm is a great protagonist, and he plays a great straight man foil to Zipp's jokester charm. I am DEFINITELY looking forward to Andover! Oh, and I also heard you were making a HD re-release of Salem, too! What site is it going to be on? (Will cont. below)
