I've sat in Stormwind City for a lot of years doing walk up RPs. Those people, absolutely exist, and in Stormwind city there seem to be A LOT OF THEM.

I'm talking about random district RP guilds, guildless people, a ton of people. These random walk ups coming from the other side of town, walking into the cathedral going "I need a confession". And me in my infinite wisdom then, RPing a priest, said sure.

Then I get dragged into PM RP where the character dumps literally every unmentionable crime you can imagine. Yes, *everything* you all froth at the mouth about. And what is more? It used to happened, weekly, from all sorts of different characters that I'm pretty sure are all not played by the same player aiming to traumatize me.

I used to often think to myself - these guys actually Rped out doing all these things in explicit detail then come in to confess? Or did they just arbitrarily decide because their character is evil man number 8, came up with a list of stuff they must have done and then decided to dump it on the priest?

So I started to ask these people who all did confession in OOC, "you all actually Rped this out or just wrote this in your backstory for shock?" Turns out nearly all of them were the latter and just had to share it as some sort of backstory for shock and awe. Very, very seldom, one of them would actually say they did the RP and they're just carrying it onwards because 'story'. When I was within the SLP-o-sphere I have watched people virtue signal. Champion wholesome RP, try and come off as chaste/good/whatever pick your word.

But then I would walk out into Stormwind city as a Cathedral priest and it's a different world. I would have no-name randoms from obscure guilds walk up to me to do confession RP, and suddenly I hear about big-name-somebody from <Project here> that trying to roofie a rando into ERP. Some big name Duke trying to bang a draenei until XXXXX comes out of her XXXX and he wanted her to beg her to stop but he would keep going. Another noble trying to slip an aphrodisiac into another random walk up. I have lost count about the number of times I did double takes and had to go OOC and go "wait, this guy? THIS guy from THIS guild?" Random: "Yeah this guy from this guild, what about it?" Not realizing they're talking about big-name-duke/duchess from big name guild of that era in SLP because they just don't RP in those circles.

Wild, the things you hear in Stormwind City from randoms who do not know about the 'popularity o sphere', do not know the 'upper echelons', the 'elite projects', the 'big guilds'. They do not know who these big dukes are and just think they are another rando doing wild stuff, and then decided to confess it to the local priest because it's "just RP" and they're just carrying it on.

I do not do confession RP anymore. Over the years it has turned into oneupmanship of edgelord character XYZ seeing how many terrible things they can stuff into a single paragraph and push enter to shock the priest they are talking to. I tell them I'm not into that sort of shock factor RP, get up, and move the fuck on.

See that's the thing. Most people want to call out the heinous abuse in public but are afraid too because once you reveal yourself, you make yourself a target for doxxing and mass reporting from your abusers (example what crawdad and fashionista does). Normally it is the people that call out themselves being abused are driven away rather than the abusers, because the abusers have normally manipulated people which their narcissistic behavior gaining a loyal following which to control aka their simps under a false idea that they are their "friend"

I see lots of that behavior on the realm (and on this blog too) and me learning political science at school has taught me anything, is normally people that amass a large following are naturally narcissistic af and are desperate to be in control of the narrative all the time which they give no to little evidence of their own on their part And will normally dodge questions and try to accusations to another topic to avoid scrutiny in the public eye, even post blame on other people with their following.

I mean you see it in politics all the time too, and the same can be applied to a role play community especially those that want the most attention.

Meanwhile random ass anon over here claiming they got rocked by merit of just existing within a day because "uwu I pissed Nik off and I'm am innocent bean and did absolutely nothing but exist" - tell me your secret, I want to know which magical baton I supposedly waved around, piloted my non-existence army and destroyed your existence with it. Because I got a whole list of people I'll love to see rocked for a change.

The one that is known for telling people to kill themselves irl whenever they get angry? Still around and firing strays.

The other one that used to walk into the cathedral sing about clit clicking and beast fucking? Still here every night.

And this one with an outright 18+ TRP with NSFW art that likes to walk in and stand in absolute silence? Still here.

As for everything else regarding harkston being kicked one can literally walk up to Agonyn, Vlad, Daudric, Arthur and just straight up ask and they will get a response to disproof everything harkre/pakston claims like holy shit it's not that hard.

I don't randomly talk about other people unprovoked. People ask me about them, bring them up, then I answer/reply/comment. Otherwise I mind my own business which is usually either RP, art, PvE, or whatever FOTM citybuilder I have going on.

I lost a grandmother and uncle that year, and I've had to come to terms with it, and during that time Leth came to me to mourn the loss of their grandfather. So in that conversation I literally said, we are at the age where the older generation are going to start going one by one and it's something we have to accept and deal with as adults, it is part of aging.

Ah, edit add: We did used to be friends over a while ago, and like covid years ago. He crashed out and I cut him off. Ever since then he wanted to be friends again, and honestly tried very hard to be friends again via proxies/mutuals. Around Mar-Apr 2025(?) we started to talk again but I kept him at a distance.
