Before I get into this, I’d like to say, that this will provide examples as to how amazingly close vmin are to being considered real life soulmates. It’ll also help anyone who wants to know about vmin’s relationship and how close the two actually are. But overall, it’ll definitely explain why some of the fandom refers to them as already soulmates. Whether it’s viewed platonically or romantically:)

The way Jimin comforted Taehyung throughout the end of the 2nd Anniversary Starcast video when Taehyung got offended at how Suga said “Hold Me Tight” only ranked second highest because it was the track right after “I Need U” 

Now, I just saw this video with subtitles, and that entire segment, those few seconds, made me feel kind of off? Because at that moment during the talk, I felt bad for Taehyung. He was addressing something he clearly got offended about and that he didn’t agree with, mostly with Suga, but it seems they never got to discuss it on camera, and Suga basically forget he’d said it at all. 

I know the hyungs love to tease 95z, and in this video, you can tell they were mostly teasing Taehyung, but when he interrupted the talk just to bring up the topic, you can see that no one was really joking anymore and Taehyung actually looked pretty serious. His reactions from when the hyungs are teasing him (when he’s voting on the fanart) to when he confronted everyone about “Hold Me Tight” were completely different. The fact that Jimin had to comfort him at all makes me believe Tae was unsettled about the whole thing.

In no way am I hating on Suga or anything, but it was a misunderstanding that I’m sure he didn’t mean. I’m also pretty sure they talked it out when the cameras were off.

But anyway, right after Taehyung said that, Jimin immediately reassured him that he thought the song was good and that he’d made it well, going in for a high-five for reassurance because he probably kind of understood that Taehyung took Suga’s words the wrong way, like Suga was saying “Hold Me Tight” only got populary because it was right after their title song and not because it was composed well. 

Then later towards the end when they’re about to talk about their resolutions for this promotion one by one and the boys suggest they start on Taehyung’s side, you can see the way Jimin kind of looks at Taehyung and puts a comforting hand on his back and asks if he needs more time and if they could start from the other side. I mean, Jeongguk is the maknae, and we all know how he struggles with saying the final words and usually keeps it super short because he doesn’t know what to say, so for Jimin to suggest starting at the other side to give Taehyung some time to think about what he’s going to say is really endearing of him.

Jimin is seriously such a sweetheart and it’s just so evident in every interview they do. I’ve honestly never seen someone with such a big heart. And also, the friendship between Taehyung and Jimin is just so adorable and they get each other right away with no explanations needed. You can just tell how much Jimin cares for Taehyung, and it’s only a few short seconds in this 34 minute video.
