Morgan silently approached Nah from behind. He glanced down into her satchel, making sure it was open, then carefully slipped his hand in and pulled out the dragonstone. When she still hadn't noticed him, he dropped a note in to replace it saying "Sorry! It's a dare!" before suddenly darting off.
Nah swore she felt something brush against her, but as she turned around she felt not but a trail of dust leading off into the distance. She noticed her satchel felt a bit lighter, and when she peeked inside she was both shocked and horrified to find that her dragonstone was not there.
"Thief!" she screamed, her lip beginning to quiver. "There’s a thief in the camp!"
Morgan stared down at his feet shamefully. “I-I really am sorry. We were all doing dares and… I guess I could’ve been a bit smarter about it.” He sighed. “I really am sorry. Can I make it up to you somehow?”
Nah folded her fingers together, eyes shifting to the left. She had half a mind take all his books and burn then in the middle of the night, but he already looked sorry enough. Instead, she heaved a sigh.
"it's fine, okay? Just... don't do it again, or else I'll eat you!"
