Had to say goodbye to our little fur baby yesterday. She was a large part of our lives and lives in many of our memories. Lulu had the talent of having the most annoying whine and therefor always got table food and never had to do a set of stairs. She was the modern day sleeping beauty - spending 90% of her day in bed or wrapped in blankets. She was a role model, teaching her nephew and niece fur babies how to successfully get food from the table and how to do tricks for special treats. And even though she was the smallest dog in the family, her toothless grin and piercing scream commanded the respect of all other dogs regardless of the fact that she was the size of their heads. She also had went by many names over the years and somehow manage not to develop a split personality though she did get pretty strange the last couple years- chalk that up to old age.
