I've been expecting you.

Another planet subjugated.

And you find my methods crude?

Crude is all that you people listen to.

Force, violence, shows of power and control.

Call it crude if you wish, but you cannot deny that what I do has results.

I have given up being kind and gentle and careful.

No one listens to such ideas.

So call me crude.

Ah ah ah, any concerns shall be addressed individually. 

To be fair, of course.

And so that led to a body being shot out from his office, a crumpled mess of broken bones and bleeding orifices, before the host was found walking out after, wiping colors of blood from his knuckles with a handkerchief. 

Strong rulers, weak rulers, they’re all the same.

To a planet, what might be the kindest and most successful ruler could still lead them down a path of destruction, even if it’s too far off to see.

A strong ruler, at least, is willing to make the choices no one wishes to consider, to be willing to kill those that have not yet gone against them because they know it will come in time.

But their reigns both end, the ideas they set in place becoming twisted and broken by those that come after. The goal of one ruler is not the same as another, even if their desires lie in the same direction, they will never be able to make the exact same decisions that their predecessor would have made.

Which leads to one conclusion.

One ruler, for the rest of time. One who can hold onto that goal and never veer from it, always making the right choices, objectively, that will guarantee the continuation of life, fairly.

So many, many things to do now.

New enforcers to be made.

New rules to create.

I’d almost say I’m enjoying it.

But why enjoy that which was brought by my own failure?

Useless.

Everyone is useless.

Nothing is safe while I’m gone. 

Nothing is acceptable while I’m gone.

I come back to carnage and fear, to pain and blood.

I come back to a disaster, once more.

No more will I let this happen.

I will not be useless.

Ah.

I see now I missed quite a lot in my absence.
