can i just say, it’s really gross how so much of the plural community (as well as doctors, therapists, and friends of systems) sincerely recommends hurting persecutors in order to make them stop persecuting. the amount of stories i’ve seen where systems are bragging about how they beat their persecutor/s into submission is disgusting. persecutors deserve to heal and to love and to be loved just as much as anyone.

As a transmasc I really appreciate every transfem that stands up for us when we talk about our experiences as transmascs. It's been extremely disheartening seeing a trend of antitransmasculinity from a subset of transfems online. I see too much of rhetoric that perpetuates that all men are oppressors of all women and therefore trans men are oppressors of trans women, so it's justified for us to be insulted and denied our lived experiences. We're told our transition is easier than a transfem transition so we are less affected by transphobia, that testosterone makes us monsters, that our top and bottom surgeries are ugly and gross, that we shouldn't transition because we have bodies transfems want, that we shouldn't be afraid of being raped or murdered, and others, that is so cruel to say to fellow trans people. I believe this is a very small number of people but that they are just very vocal about how much they hate transmascs. I see transmascs every day being harassed by these types of people. Trans people of all genders need to support each other. We are all affected by transphobia and shouldn't make it a competition of who is "more" oppressed. Now more than ever trans people need to stand up for each other regardless of gender identity or transition experience. I love every transfem that has believed us.

Speaking as a disabled person, it really rubs me the wrong way when people focus on an animal's "purpose," whether that's domesticated animals such as dogs and cows, or wild animals such as mosquitoes and wasps. Nothing needs a reason to exist. You don't have to be useful for your life to matter.
