this chapter is fire. anything that sends my editor to the floor to process life for a moment is bound to be amaze balls. this, so far, is my favourite chapter. I love it. Also it might get reposted with a few new edits idk tho.

If this chapter was animated by bones the fisheye/ass wiggling count would sky rocket. look forward to reading it, hopefully april 4th. (idk that date could change).

Hey yall. This is GD, Cat’s editor and story boarding assistant for the Bungo Stray Dogs Fanfic: New Gen. I wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about my editing process.

Cat likes to talk about how she always gives me a hard time when I go in to edit.

She’s right.

Every time I sit down to edit, there’s always some type of comment saying “fix this for me lol” and then the things she wants me to fix DON’T MAKE ANY SEMBLANCE OF SENSE.

Oh and don’t get me started on her spelling. It took her five minutes to figure out how to spell ‘enlengthened’. Also, she’s hopelessly in love with British people. Please, for the love of god, stop using British spelling. We ain’t British. I can handle ‘colour’, and can’t handle ‘mould’. I will have another mental breakdown.

I love editing tho, it’s never boring. And her comments are always so unhinged. Let’s see…what notable things did I do.

Oh I did the death note joke in chapter 4, and I added the part where Takeshi imitates Tazuko in chapter 2. OH AND WHY IS THERE A RANDOM BABY IN MY ROOM IN THE CHAPTER 3 TITLE. And if you count my editor notes. That’s basically it I’m not funny.

(this is from me, ya author, but when I finish a draft for a chapter, we do a read through together, and GD reads it out loud. She does voices for all the characters, and it's insanely goofy. She voices Masaki like he's a little girl. I can't take him seriously anymore. those read throughs are always entertaining, and I just wanted to yap about it for a little. heheuhweuhfw)
