I am but a silly little guy!

so happy I can make another bday piece this year as well !! :) I wanted to try something a little different. The outfit is inspired by David Bowie ^_^

Unlike Roger's route (which featured a ton of scenes across a multitude of locations), Olandy gives Randy, Oliver + Gingi a LOT of time to chat/get to know each other and is more character-based than any other route, arguably, taking place entirely over the course of a single date at the funfair, which is shown only very brief in the main routes.

I like to experiment with my projects and figured after Roger, it'd be fun to basically invert everything I did last time. The characters have room to breathe and you can really learn a lot about the three, mainly their pasts + underlying motivations, covering stuff that's implied but not really discussed in their main routes (even building on Gingi's characterization seen in Roger's route.)

The route is occasionally frustrating, awkward but also, there's a potential for the characters bonding + really understanding each other, especially in the good ending. I'm implementing a ton of dialogue right now (the wordcount is roughly twice that of Oliver's ENTIRE basegame route) and one thing I'm really curious about is how their negative traits will be received.

There are definitely moments where Randy doesn't come off the best (namely for his insecurity/lack of personal integrity) and if you piss Oliver off enough, his temper can really come through with Randy + Gingi and those exchanges are not pleasant to witness (though these scenes will usually only be seen if you screw things up.) At times, I've worried people will like the characters less if they ever see this dialogue.

Playing through the 'main' part of the route while being nice is a completely different experience to playing and being as awful as you can and there's way more stuff tracked in these conversations than anywhere else in the game.

BAD NEWS, DIALTOWN FANS: A hostile swan has claimed my Randy 2.0 plush and will NOT stop hissing every time I try to get it back.

Might take me a couple of days to plot his rescue. We'll see. Thank you for understanding during these trying times.
