The problem with Korean webtoons specifically, is that a good majority of them come from webnovels, which, much like fanfiction, are completely amateur works.

Therefore, it's quite easy to tell in the first few chapters whether a webtoon is going to be good, and by good, I mean written properly with decent pacing and plot consistency as well as thematic exploration and decent characterisation.

i think I would have like yang ilwoo and i a lot more if it was a shonen. cause the only thing shonens have that BL's dont is unpredictability.
