- Not such a big fan of the waiting game. We are getting things ready down here in South Florida and it's been a hectic couple of days so far. No gas in any of my neighborhood gas stations, drivers on the road like it's a race car derby and water bottles are out of existence in these parts. This storm couldn't get here any sooner! 🌤 (at Clam Pass Park)

- Having a beachfront pool all to yourself during sunrise is one of the best parts about my stay at the @siratastpete Quiet, colorful, and relaxing. No place else I'd rather be....for now 😉🏝 (at Sirata Beach Resort)

- Up. Close. And Personal! It was high tide so we were able to ride up to the homes get keep a safe distance do to the strong currents and waves that kept crashing in. What mysterious looking group of structures that are unique to the South West Florida waters. It's history frozen in time. The only thing I wonder is how long will they last !? 👻☠👀 (at Cape Romano - Ten Thousand Islands Aquatic Preserve)

- It’s incredible to consider that until fairly recently, Marco Island, Florida, was sparsely populated and largely undeveloped. According to extensive research by anthropologists, archeologists and other scientists, Marco Island and the rest of southwestern Florida was once populated by Calusa Indians in 500 A.D. It is believed that they arrived to the area several centuries prior to this and that they may have been descendants of the Mayans. Upon the arrival of Spanish explorers in the mid-1500s, the native population plummeted and by the mid-1700s, they were entirely wiped out. Seminole Indians took their place, but they didn’t fare much better. In the late 19th century, William Thomas Collier and his family arrived. The village of Marco was founded in 1870, and Collier’s son, Captain Bill Collier, opened a hotel in 1896 that stands to this day and is known as the Olde Marco Inn. Today, three of the original buildings still stand and serve as restaurants. (at Marco Island, Florida)

- Dolphins are hungry and plentiful through out the Marco Island. This one was pretty tiny and it was near it's l mother, feeding on fish amongst the shallow mangrove shores. A perfect reason to remind yourself to drive slowly throughout the channels and inner coastal ways. You might just get a chance to catch them up close and personal. - Spotted from above as we leave our signature mark. Blessed to have gotten to know the @paradisecoast more in this year's summer time than any other. I've never hit up that Tamiami Trail or I75 highway so much in such a short two months span. While we did meet many beautiful people in Marco Island, it was definetly nice to get away to thjs remote island and having it all to ourselves 🌴🚀 (at Cape Romano - Ten Thousand Islands Aquatic Preserve)

- Along the beach shores of Naples, Fl a flock of egrets closed in to hunt any fish that may get washed up during a memorable Florida sunset. The sky on this day turned rosy pink and then all sorts if purples until it then darkened into a midnight blue 🌅🦅 (at Clam Pass Beach, Naples, Fl)

- This summer i took my first glance at the famous Florida "Dome Homes," a wish come true! I look back now and I still find it thrilling to have been able to get all the way out there. They're pretty outback in Southwest Floroda and the only way to get here is by boat or paddle if you happen to be an experienced paddler. They are literally just dome shaped homes sitting on stilts that used to stand over a beach that has now eroded away. This might not be a big deal for some, but for me this is a Florida treasure that is still ready to be explored. See em' while you can because they don't look as stable as they once used to. The Next several storms might be the ones to end this tale of a site seeing wonder 🚤⚓ (at Cape Romano - Ten Thousand Islands Aquatic Preserve)

- Tomorrow marks 25 years since Hurricane Andrew shreds through Miami and the rest of South Florida. I was on my only 4 years old, starring out the front window of our home and watching my pops put up the shutters. A hurricane warning was issued on that Sunday morning for Florida, and Hurricane Andrew ended up hitting nearly 24 hours later in the early morning hours of Monday, August 24th. It killed 10 people in Dade County while knocking out power to 1.3 million households. Winds reached up to 168 miles per hour and it roared across the state to Ft. Myers and swept into the Gulf of Mexico 🌫 (at Clam Pass Beach, Naples, Fl)

- On an early morning drive along the back roads of the Fakahatchee Strand Preserve, keeping an eye out for any wildlife that may pop out the side of the road 🦌🐊🐾🐻🦅 (at Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park)

- A beautiful, graceful egret, very active in its feeding behavior in shallow waters. They are known by their contrasting yellow feet, frantic foraging behaviors and stunning all white plumage. The species was slaughtered for its plumes in the 19th century, but protection brought a rapid recovery of numbers, and the Snowy Egret is now more widespread and common than ever 🌅⏳ (at Naples, Florida)

- Back in the #MIA after spending weeks at a time on the west coast if Florida. I almost forgot what the Atlantic Ocean was like, but thanks to @frameworkscoconutgrove they reminded me faster than I would of forgotten. We were invited to join them on their days excursion, onboard two beautiful Cataramans for their emoloyees and their families! What a way to show their appreciation and gratitude towards their hard working staff. These people are the "GO TO" place for all your photography needs; prints, frames, fabrication, custom art, etc. Tell them Manny and Mel from @prymeproduction sent you. I promise they wont let you down! P.S - This is not a paid adverstisment. Just my honest opinion! (at Brickell)

- Got to lazy to set up my tripod so I chose a more reckless method of capturing this sunset. I decided to hop into the ocean and angle my none water proof camera as closely to the water as possible, right after each wave. Took a couple snaps to discover this one cool looking photo that gave me a sort of under and over look, something that is normally done by using a dome housing for your camera. Worth the risk? Eh, depends who you ask! (at Naples Beach, Fl)

- Summert time on the west coast of Florida is a sky show. Seriously. With the amount of clouds that keep coming in from the mid-west and on over the Gulf of Mexico, we are constantly getting hit with these interesting looking super cell of clouds! The more I look at them, the more I'm intrigued. It's weird but I kind of look forward to upcoming storms. Something I didn't look forward too just a couple years back 🌪⛱🌬 (at Naples, Florida)
