Today I outlive you, big brother. And it seems so wrong. Especially because I feel like I have so much life left ahead of me, and you had so much life left ahead of you. And now it feels, more on this day than any other day, that I’m expected to leave you behind. But I won’t. I’ll carry you with me forever. And I’ll always call you my big brother. My older brother. Because that’s what you’ll always be. It just still seems so wrong.
