You absolutely do have a minor problem, but you didn’t really care.

You bought every album.

Every piece of merch.

Every concert ticket.

Every photocard.

You even got lucky enough to do a fancall.

It was that serious to you, and you really did not care.

Dick and Barbara thought it was cute. 

You would come into the bat cave with a new shirt that you definitely didn’t have before.

It was the black version of the white one. 

Dick was the first to notice you, “Don’t you think it’s a bit excessive”

And you rightfully ignored him.

Barbara snorted from where she sat at the bat computer, “you deserve that. Of course she had to get it in black.”

You looked at her and smiled, “you get it, babs!”

Dick isn’t cultured, so he must be eradicated.

Jason didn’t think much of it, but he did let you talk his ear off.

It was usually when you ran into each other on the streets.

He offered to take you where you had to go, and in exchange, you ranted to him about scalpers.

You absolutely hated what they were doing to the concert-ticketing industry, and you wanted them…

Eradicated.

Cassandra was very amused.

She had offered to take you to see your favorite group in South Korea.

She had business there anyway.

Two birds. One stone.

You almost levitated when she offered to even go with you.

Matching concert fits were a must. You even gave her a list of music videos or eras they could get inspiration from.

All the other concert fits would not compare. If they tried, they would have to be eradicated.

Stephanie and Damian were all for it.

When you were in the gym learning the choreography to a girl group dance as a workout, they asked to join you.

It looked fun and easy enough. 

Damian said he could learn the choreography in his sleep.

Though, after about two hours, Stephanie laid flat on the floor and was just about to give up.

How did they scoot on the floor like that and hop back up but spin at the same time still?

Steph was pissed because she trained for harder routines than this. 

But Damian?

He was already ready to try it without the mirrored version playing on the laptop. 

You laughed where you sat next to Steph, equally winded and struggling, but just happy to have them there.

The choreography has been spared from eradication for that alone.

Tim and Duke were utterly confused.

Mainly by your extensive collection of albums.

They stood in your room, absolutely speechless.

You had dedicated your day to rearranging your album shelves when they so happened to walk in.

“Is this an addiction? Why do you need so many copies of the exact same album?” Tim muttered as he watched you grab a stack of albums.

“Your face is an addiction. And they’re not the same copy! They’re all different versions!” you snapped back, throwing one of the jewel cases at him. 

You knew he would duck…you hoped he wouldn’t.

“Chill... we were just…admiring? Scared? Worried?” Duke responded as he picked up the discarded album.

“You lie, Nightlight. Now get out. You’re letting the collection get exposed to carbohydrates!”

And if they ever came back… You would eradicate them.

Bruce…Bruce indulged you

How could he not?

You were the only one that didn’t do vigilante work.

Instead of putting money into helping you with gear, he put it into getting you VIP tickets to just about any concert.

It was easy for him too.

All he needed to do was use his connections to get to the right people.

He never told you his plan to get you in either.

He always sprung it on you before concert dates were ever announced. 

Bruce knew how happy you would be so he always made it happen.

Which spared him from being…eradicated.

Duke Thomas is a Five Nights at Freddy’s fan.

It was the first thing you found out about him.

You guys met at a bookstore. Both browsing the comic section and you saw the Fazbear Frights book set in his hand.

You had asked him if he ever played.

Duke’s eyes lit up as he went into a small explanation on FNAF as a whole.

How when the first game came out, he played it with his older cousins and couldn’t sleep for weeks. He was so terrified of Freddy coming to get him

You had laughed.

It was cute.

He was cute.

Many late night calls, mini dates and text messages later…

Now here you both were.

Dating for 6 months and still going strong.

So was Duke’s FNAF love.

Duke had dragged you to see both FNAF movies on premiere day. He got tickets from his foster dad (Bruce fucking Wayne), and raved about how excited he was.

Until you guys watched the first one.

He hated it but also loved it.

Duke said it was shitty but that had tracked for an over-bloated franchise like FNAF.

You listened, captivated, as someone who just watched a movie with no real context.

You just loved seeing the way his face softened and his smile shown brighter discussing the bite of ’87.

Duke once had you both dress up as Foxy and Bonnie for a halloween party at his cousin’s house.

It took him no real convincing to get you to dress up with him

You’d do anything for the cutest FNAF lover you’ve ever met.

This time, it was making matcha lattes at home.

Stephanie has been whisking the shit out of the matcha in the chawan and is complaining about the authenticity. She’s afraid it’ll be like last date night.

Last time, you guys tried Thai tea.

You guys felt real dumb, completely missing the obvious pumpkin on the package.

They were still good, though...despite not being Thai tea.

Your wig is too tight.

Oh my god… you’re starting to hear colors.

But none of this is going to stop you from searching. Gotham Con happens every year, and for the past two years, you have been making Tim go with you. 

This year, however, you are finally boyfriends and what’s a cuter way to show off than matching couple cosplays?

What’s even cuter-er? 

Trying to find merch of your boyfriend’s secret vigilante persona and getting matching ones with him….if you could find any.

You have literally been in the Artist Alley for an hour. You've been at the con itself for maybe a little over 7 hours. However, in that hour in Artist Alley, you got lost during that hour, and still it's been the same merch:

Even RED HOOD!

Seriously….Red Robin wasn’t even niche

It was getting a bit ridiculous.

You sighed as you adjusted the halo on your head and were about to shimmy your way out of the crowd when you spotted it. 

That’s where Tim finds you.

He got carried away with getting every single print of the characters you guys were cosplaying and lost you in the sea of people.

It didn’t help that your characters were also very popular, so his wallet — Bruce’s wallet to be honest — was taking a hit.

But anything to see that goofy smile on your face when you saw the collection

He was even thinking of hitting you with a “this us.”

Corny, but you loved it 

Tim slid into place beside you, admiring the display, and immediately tried to hide the smile on his face.

“Red Robin?” he mused, watching as you turned and gave the exact same goofy smile he was reminiscing about

“Duh! Look! Yo—He looks so cute!” You held up two 5-inch acrylic keychain for Tim to see.

It was Red Robin inside of a pink heart, holding up a peace sign. The artist did make him look cuter than any police sketch ever could, and he loved it.

He knew you did too by the sparkle in your eye.

The twinkle you usually got when you were overly excited by something.

“He is very cute” Tim said, swiftly paying for the keychains when you weren’t looking. “And we’re matching?”

You turned to him and blinked. 

“Well…yeah…you’re my boyfriend. I kinda felt like we are obligated to match with merch like this.” You held up his keychain to him, letting him take it before turning away, “Now let’s go. I saw a Signal cosplayer, and we need to take a photo for Duke!”

Tim didn’t even need to be told twice. He would follow you to the end of the earth if you asked. 

He got up at 6 this morning to help you put on your wig and wings. 

If you wanted to match, you were gonna match.

It really wasn’t about the cosplay anyway

It never was 

Cosplays.

Keychains

Souls.

It all felt the same

You and Tim were in it for the long run, and in some way, the silly Red Robin keychains felt like proof of it.

Tim Drake doesn’t do well with bets.

He gets way too into it for the entire situation to stay just a silly goofy thing between (boy)friends.

You bet once that he wouldn’t be able to finish an entire medium sized, double stuffed anchovy pizza by himself.

You then watched him make himself sick as he stuffed the third slice into his mouth knowing damn well the pizza was gross.

You so graciously rubbed his back once he threw up by the fifth slice.

It was gross but kind of cute.

One time, Tim showed you the first Rubix’s cube he ever solved. He did it when he was only 10 and it was his prized possession.

You made a joke about how he was older and senile.

No way he could solve one again.

Tim stared at the Rubix’s cube and immediately started fucking with it.

The thing was so old, it started to fall apart with each rotation.

Welp…

Another time, his competitiveness got the best of him at the gym.

You made an offhand joke about being able to do push ups with him sitting on your back.

Tim stared at you for an unnerving amount of time before telling you to prove it…

You did.

Tim was irritated (and turned on)

Jason’s favorite movie since he was a kid is An American Tail (1986) because it was the first movie Bruce ever took him to see in theaters….

A close second is All Dogs Go To Heaven (1989).

He cannot watch that movie without absolutely sobbing.

You didn’t know this when you suggested it for a date night, and of course he said yes.

Jason Peter Todd will never say no to his boyfriend.

…but he should have this time, because now he’s desperately trying to hide the obvious ache in his heart after seeing Charlie say goodbye to Anne-Marie.

It’s a lot for him, but by the time you notice, he’s biting his lip hard enough to hurt with tears streaming down his face.

Now you sit with his head in your lap and letting him vent about how, till this day, he doesn’t get why they made a silly dog movie so damn sad.

At least you’re the sweetest boyfriend ever and definitely won’t use this as blackmail later.
