The smell of bacon and eggs forced my eyes open, even though I fought the urge, hard. I was still living in the memories of last night and I did not want that to end. However, my stomach made the decision for me.
âHey baby. I cooked you some breakfast.â
âThere is no other explanation. I died yesterday. Iâm literally in heaven right now, arenât I?â I questioned.
His laughter had never sounded so sweet. Fuck it, if I was dead I had no desire to ever be alive again. This heaven was perfect!
âNo. You are still alive. Very much alive based on last night,â he responded as he leaned in for a kiss. âI was thinking about something this morning.â

The smell of bacon and eggs forced my eyes open, even though I fought the urge, hard. I was still living in the memories of last night and I did not want that to end. However, my stomach made the decision for me.

His laughter had never sounded so sweet. Fuck it, if I was dead I had no desire to ever be alive again. This heaven was perfect!
âNo. You are still alive. Very much alive based on last night,â he responded as he leaned in for a kiss. âI was thinking about something this morning.â
âOh yea? What?â
âI want you to move your stuff in here. Make this our room. That is if you want?â
âYou want me to move in here with you?â
âYea.â
âThatâs like moving in together. Thatâs what you're asking right?â
âYes. I see your deductive reasoning skills are somewhat working this morning.â
âAre you sure?â
âY/N, I wouldnât have asked if I wasnât.â
âOk,â I answered, shifting my gaze from him to that wonderful plate of food.
âOK? Thatâs all I get?â he said laughing, again.
âWell, yea. I mean, what did you want? You wanted me to propose to you before I said yes?â
His laughter was music to my ears. I could listen to him laugh for eternity. He climbed on the bed with me and we ate breakfast together. Total bliss was the only way I could describe it. After every single scrap of food was demolished, Dean got up and took the dishes to the kitchen. I stretched and then climbed out of bed. Still naked, I searched for my clothes and couldn't find them. Doing the most obvious things, I went to his closet and pulled out one of his flannel shirts.
It was long enough that I felt comfortable enough to try to make it to my room. But of course, as soon as I came out, guess who I ran into? Yep, there was Sam, with a big ole smirk on his face.
âI knew you werenât thinking about past hunting trips last night,â he stated, laughing.
âOh hush.â
I scampered to my room and got dressed correctly. Looking around my room I realized it wouldnât take me but less than fifteen minutes to get moved into his room. I just didnât own much more than what could fit into a duffel bag. I didnât even hesitate as I moved around the room throwing all my stuff into that one duffel. Ten minutes later, all my stuff was safely located in Deanâs room. All done!
With that task done and over with, I made myself towards the library. I entered the room to find the brothers in the middle of a little squabble. It didnât look too severe but it seemed a little heated. I paused at the doorway, trying to get a grip on what was really going on.
âWhatâs going on guys?â
âIâm just pissed that we still canât find the kulshedra.â
âAnd as I was telling my hard headed brother, my new research shows that we may not find anything on her until April 23. But he just canât seem to accept that.â
âOk, I pretty sure Iâm missing something but whatâs so special about April 23?â I asked, watching Dean pace back and forth.
âDean, would you please sit the hell down while I explain this to Y/N.â
I watched as Dean reluctantly pulled a chair out and sat down. I followed suit and I did the same. Once we were both seated, Sam took a deep breath and sat down also. This could not be anything good, thatâs for sure.
âOk. So some of the stuff Iâve been looking at leads me to believe that we arenât really hunting a kulshedra but a bullar. Now a bullar is still a kulshedra, just a young one.â
âThat shit doesnât make any sense, Sam,â Dean exclaimed.
âUmm, yea, that confuses me, Sam. What in the hell is a bullar?â
âLike I said, a bullar is basically a kulshedra. Think of it like a teenage kulshedra. But for a bullar to become a full blown kulshedra, it has to stay hidden from human eyes for many years.â
âDamn it, Sam..â
âNo wait, Dean. So, Sam, you are telling us that my drangue is chasing this bullar? Which is basically a young kulshedra. Right?â
âYes.â
âAnd on April 23, the bullar becomes, basically, a full grown kulshedra?â
âYes.â
âOK, so I got that much. My confusion is why April 23?â
âThe reason why, I havenât discovered. Just everything I have read states that on Saint Georgeâs Day, the bullar becomes a full blown kulshedra.â
âStill doesnât make any damn sense, Sammy,â Dean stated.
âTo be honest, Sam, I agree with Dean.â
âLook, both of you. I canât explain the legends, all I can do is read and interpret them best that I can. Everything I have been reading tells me that this bullar most likely wonât show her head again until then. The bad side of this is that when April 23 comes, the bullar turns into a kulshedra. The legend states that this is where âshe peers into the world and will devour any human that approaches herâ. It is explained in folklore that Saint George had cursed the beast to be forever blind except on his saintâs feast day. But I couldnât find any reasoning behind this myth.â
âWell, today is April 11. So we have twelve days until that happens, right Sammy?â
âYes, Dean. According to all my research, thatâs what I come up with.â
I looked at the both of them. They seemed to be in completely different emotional states. I was probably in a totally different one myself. There was so much stuff that I missed. I never came across anything about the kulshedra, much less the teenage version, the bullar. I was trying to process all the information that Sam just shared. It was killing me that I never came across any of this myself. I should have searched harder.
âOk, so, we just say fuck it? Let everything go for the next twelve days?â Dean asked.
âI donât know what else to tell you, Dean. According to everything I have been reading, I really donât think we will get anything on them until then. Itâs not like we havenât been in these kinds of situations before, you know.â
âDoesnât mean I like it any more now than I have in the past.â
The two brothers looked at each other, ignoring me. It wasnât any big deal but I knew me. This was something they had been doing together for more years than I could even begin to fathom. But there was no way I could just sit around here doing nothing for almost two weeks, that just wasnât gonna happen. Those two kept going back and forth. My brain was racing with this new information, even though there wasnât much I could do with it, at least for the next two weeks.
âWell, ok then. Twelve days, almost two weeks. So that is where we are at. Nothing can change that so my next question is what do we do until then?â
âThere is nothing Y/N.â Sam answered. âWe just have to wait until then.â
âMaybe as far as the kulshedra is concerned. But that doesnât mean we stop hunting. I'm telling you both, there is no way that I can sit around here for two weeks and do nothing. Kulshedra, Gotta wait two weeks for her, fine. But I will continue to hunt until then. I donât know about you two.â
âY/N, what are you gonna do? This is our main goal right now,â Dean asked.
âI couldnât tell you without doing some research myself. I just know that I canât sit around and do nothing. That is not my style, Dean.â
Dean and Sam looked back and forth between themselves, as if they were asking permission, asking questions, or whatever psychically. It didnât matter to me. There was no way I was just gonna sit around, doing nothing, for almost two weeks while they got their shit together. I was not built that way.
âLetâs just come at this again tomorrow. Letâs all just take the day and we can talk again in the morning,â Sam interjected.
Not knowing what else to do, I left the two of them there in the library, arguing amongst themselves. I took some time and wandered around the bunker, taking in all the history, trying to formulate my own game plan. Being a team, well, that was definitely not my best quality. But if I could see a way to do it with them, I would be all on board for it.
I wandered the hall, thinking, not really paying attention to where I was. A couple hours, and several dead ends later, I found my way back to the kitchen. Taking the right turn, this time, I headed back to âourâ room. This whole situation was way more that I had anticipated. Sam and Dean, me and Dean, all of us in this bunker, none of this made any sense at all to me.Â
Once I made it back to our room, I stripped down to nothing except Deanâs flannel that I stole this morning. I pulled the material up to my face and breathed in deeply. It still smelled of Dean, smelled of comfort. Crawling into the bed, I waited for him to come to me. As I laid there, going through all Samâs information, I already knew what I was I was going to do. The time passed as IÂ silently made a game plan. There wasnât a part of me that didnât know that, without a doubt, it was one Dean was not going to agree with. But it didnât matter. I had a feeling that it would never matter as far as I was concerned.
Dean finally came to bed. I watched as he undressed, pulled the covers back, and climbed in. He made no move to pull me closer, just crawled in, and laid on his back. But it didnât deter me. I already knew what I had to do. I snuggled up to him, I needed to hear his heartbeat at least once more. His heart beat would be my lifeline for as long as I lived, that I had no doubt.
âDean, can you hold me please?â
âBaby, Iâm sorry,â he responded as he wrapped those wonderful arms around me. âIâm just frustrated.â
âI am too.â
âI hate just sitting around, waiting. I want to finish this and be done.â
âLetâs not talk, not right now,â I whispered.
I lifted my head so that I could look into his eyes. Yes, I was definitely in over my head with this one. I leaned in for a kiss. Dean kissed me back, hard. I opened my eyes briefly, as the kiss seemed to deepen somehow, only to find him watching me with those memorable eyes. It only intensified my passions for him in that moment. My hands, suddenly, had a mind of their own as they explored. Dean, his passion unbound in that moment, gently flipped me over. I needed him. I needed him so badly. I knew with my plan that this could be my last night with him like this. So there was nothing, no reason at all for me to defy myself what could be my last pleasure. So, I did not resist.
-----------
Deanâs snores were soft little rumbles in the quiet room. Part of me had almost talked myself out of this. But I knew myself and if I stayed right now, I would sabotage myself and this wonderful thing. As gently as I could, I eased myself out of the bed. Slipping Deanâs shirt back on, I quickly grabbed a pair of jeans and socks out of my bag, which I had not yet unpacked.Â
Praying I was being as quiet as a mouse, I slipped out of the bedroom and headed for the front. As I got to the library, I stopped and got dressed quickly, still wearing Deanâs shirt. I was hoping it would be my good luck charm. I grabbed one of Samâs tablets, quickly wrote them a note, and snatched one of Samâs laptops on my way to the garage. We had retrieved my truck but I didnât know what Dean had done with the keys. Luckily, he had shown me where they kept all the other keys in the garage.
I may not be able to take my truck but the boys did have a bad ass truck down here. It would have to do until I got my keys back. I quickly went to my truck and got what I needed out of it. Climbing into the boys truck, I found the door opener above the visor. But before I headed out, I pulled up the internet. Needed to make sure there was a case out there before I just took off. I sat there in the truck for about an hour before I finally found something.Â
There was a town outside of Denver, Fort Morgan, and they had had two separate mothers and children disappear. This basically cried out changelings! It was already after three in the morning, a little over five hours to get there; it would be the perfect time for a FBI agent to show up. Game plan in mind, GPS programmed, it was time to go before Sam or Dean woke up.

A whole week had passed since I finally met the infamous Winchesters. Sam and I had been combing every single internet site we could during that time, trying to find anything on any kind of major storm that indicated our prey. Despite all of our efforts; nothing, nada, zero. With my silent curiosity, I watched the two brothers as they interacted while we tried to find any lead. I found it interesting comparing the real life brothers to everything I had ever heard about them. Nothing matched up with the rumors.
Sam was really something to observe. This man must have had the patience of a damn saint. No matter how rough or stressed it got, he always kept his composure, manipulating Dean in small ways, doing everything he could to keep his brother somewhat calm. Dean, on the other hand, was the one I could relate to the most. Every hour, every day, both of us became more and more restless and apprehensive.

Dean, on the other hand, was the one I could relate to the most. Every hour, every day, both of us became more and more restless and apprehensive.
âDamn it, Sammy. This is killing me. Still nothing?â
âNo, Dean. Donât you think if I found something I wouldâve told you?â
âOk, ok. Look, Dean, Sam, things are getting kind of thick around here and I really donât know how yâall handle things like this. Me? When I get like this, I hunt around and find something else to hunt until I can get back to what I was doing. So, Sam, has anything else popped up?â
âActually, I have run across a few things that could pan out to be something.â
âIâm with Y/N. Man, I need to get out of here and do something.â
âOk, my best lead is in Lincoln.â
âWhat are we going to hunt?â I questioned.
âWell, there seems to have been several disappearances lately. Most of them young girls. To tell you the truth, it kind of reminds me of that one case in Limestone, Illinois. Do you remember that one Dean?â
âYea, yea. That was a vampire hive, wasnât it?â
âYep. This really seems like the same thing. I think we have a new hive.â
The three of us spent the next couple of hours talking, prepping, and lining out the details of our plan. Next thing I knew, I was in the backseat of the Impala, headed to Limestone, on a mission with the Winchesters. Now that I had pushed down that hate that I had of them, I was totally embracing everything that had to do with them.
As the miles stretched out before us, I remembered back on previous hunts of my own. I was always a loner, never good at the whole âteamworkâ concept. Iâll never know if that was because I was an only child or if it was because Martin, my pseudo father, never had anyone around except for myself. No matter the reason, it had always been just me. Even now, racing to hunt down a vampire hive, I wasnât real clear on how to hunt with partners. But I was determined to try to learn.
It took us about nine and a half hours, with Dean driving, to get to Limestone. Another hour to track one of the vampires. Two hours after that, we were in the car and headed back to the bunker. In all my years, never had I had a hunt that went that smooth. Not that I was complaining, not in a million years. I once took down a nest of seven by myself even though that hunt took me three days to finish. Dean had tossed the keys to Sam so he could drive us back. I climbed in the backseat and pretty much passed out within minutes from exhaustion as soon as I settled in. Last thing I remembered was Dean telling Sam it didnât matter if he drove, he was still picking the music. Hellâs Bells echoed in my head as I drifted off.
The next thing I knew, Dean was shaking me, trying to get me awake. A yawn and a stretch later, I was out of the car and following the boys into the bunker with arms full of gear. This was really a neat feeling, something I had never felt before. The three of us coming back âhomeâ after a successful hunt; a totally new experience for me. Even though it was something new, I was loving every second of it. My feelings for Dean and Sam had done a total 360. These two guys worked together better than any well oiled machine in the world. They had an instinctive response to each other. Deep down, I felt slightly covetous towards that.Â
We got into the bunker, put away all the ânon-Impalaâ gear, and settled down in the library. Sam immediately jumped on the laptop to do a search for storms. Dean, as per usual as far as I could tell, came in with a full bottle of bourbon and three glasses. The three of us killed two glasses each real quick. Dean refilled everyoneâs glass again as we all settled in. Even Sam closed his laptops.
âWell, after a super quick glance, I am still not seeing any indications of the kulshedra.â
âI guess thatâs a good thing at the moment. Not really up for chasing that bitch tonight,â Dean replied.
âNo, Iâm not either. But it would have been good to at least see something to show that sheâs still around,â Sam tossed back.
I leaned back in my chair, sipping on my drink, and listened to the two of them go back and forth. They discussed possible attacks, techniques, strategies, to pursue the kulshedra. Everything they threw out was new to me, things I haven't even begun to think about. God, these guys REALLY did know their shit, I thought to myself as I began to feel the heat of the bourbon flow through me.Â
I felt my face go flush as the images from the first night I was here popped back in my mind. I had remembered more of that night than I let Dean know, mostly because of my embarrassment of judging them like I had done,. The feel of his hands, his fingers, and god help me, his lips. These were the images that kept bouncing around in my head every time I looked at him. Neither of us had talked about that night since the next morning. Also, we had not shared a bed since that night and part of me was aching to do it again.
âYou look deep in thought Y/N?â Sam asked, breaking me from my thoughts.
âAww. Itâs nothing. Just thinking about past hunts,â I stammered, trying to recover from my lustful thoughts.
âNot what it looked like,â he replied, laughing harder than I thought he should have.
Damn it to hell!Â
âY/N did really good tonight, didnât she Sam? She took out what three of them on her own?â
âYep. She was definitely a good addition to the team Dean.â
The heat continued to rise to my face. I wasnât used to such praise. I only did what I had always been trained to do. Martin never allowed praise to enter into his training. You did what you had to do or you died, that simple.
âHush both of you. And someone pour me another drink,â I responded, trying to redirect the conversation.
The smile that crept over Deanâs face filled me with so much happiness, more than it should have. Dean poured himself and Sam one at the same time. Sam picked his drink up and sipped it. Dean and I, as if in some kind of divine union tossed both of ours back at the same time. He immediately filled both of our glasses up. We continued to sit around the table and talk about all the hunts we had been on.
The three of us had been sitting, talking, reminiscing, for a couple of hours when Sam finally called it a night. I wished him a âgood nightâ, Dean simply told him, â see you in the morningâ. As Sam left, I was left all alone with Dean, and this wonderful bottle of bourbon, only half gone.
âNeed another?â
âYes, please,â I answered as I slid my glass closer to him.
âSo Y/N, I know you mostly hunt by yourself. But how did you celebrate a good hunt?â
âWell that is an easy question to ask considering I have always been on my own. I simply went home and started doing more research, always looking for the next hunt.â
âAlways, huh? Never had any partners?â
âNo. I wasnât raised that way. Iâve always been on my own, just me.â
âI was like that for a while. Dad trained both of us but mostly me. Still donât understand that even today. But that day that dad went missing, itâs been the two of us ever since.â
âIâm envious of that Dean. Iâve watched the two of you this past week. Yâall have something I will never have.â
âItâs nice of you to say that but you just donât get it. Me and Sam, yeah, we had the training but it really was different. I think deep down dad knew that Sam wasnât really cut out for this. I hated that I had to drag him back into it.â
âMaybe so Dean, but from my point of view, it was the best thing that could have happened. The two of you work together so well, almost flawlessly. You're like two opposites, two ends that compliment each other.â
âMaybe. I donât know.â
âI really donât know either. Yâall are the first that Iâve gotten to work together that showed skills like that. I donât know about other people, but what the two of you have, itâs awesome.â
âYou know what I think is awesome? You.â
Not knowing what to do in light of his praise, I simply pushed my glass towards him indicating a refill. Which he did without hesitation. Before he could even set the bottle back down on the table, I was pushing it back to him. Dean simply pulled the bottle back up and poured that liquid in my glass. Even in my bourbon haze, I noticed he poured a little bit fuller than before.
âDean? Can I be honest about something with you? And you do not judge me?â
âAbsolutely Y/N. I would never be judgmental with you.â
âIn all my life,â I started, hearing my words slur a bit. âThe time I have spent here with you and your brother, itâs been life changing. I canât describe it any other way than that.â
âY/N, I know things havenât been decent since the first night you were here. But thatâs only because I was giving you time to adjust. The night I spent with you was literally one of the best nights of my life! Better than my time with Lisa.â
Lisa? Who the fuck was Lisa?
âOk, well considering I donât know who Lisa is, I am gonna take your word for it.â
âI am without a doubt sure that I have consumed too much liquor at this point. Lisa? She is a thing of the past. Y/N, baby, you are something that I never thought I would find.â
âWhat ARE you looking for Dean?â
âI really donât know. I guess someone could share what I do. Someone I could confide in about all the monsters, demons, and everything else weird as fuck in my life without getting freaked out. With Sam, itâs one thing. We go through it together. So I donât lean on him. This life is not an easy one Y/N.â
âI get that Dean,â I replied as I reached for his hand. His honesty was pulling at my heart more than I would like to admit.
âDo you Y/N/? Do you really get it?â
âAre we not alike Dean? Of course, I get it. Iâve been just like this my whole life. Wanting, waiting, for someone who could understand what itâs all like.â
Even though I knew that the bourbon racing through my veins was allowing me to be more forthcoming than I would normally be, but when Dean raised his hand and placed it on my cheeks, nothing in this entire world mattered more. His embrace was soft, somehow telling me to trust him, trust everything about him. My resolve weakened as his face, those lips, came closer to my own. For the second time in three weeks, I gave in!
I felt like I was falling as his lips touched mine. The electricity that passed between us was something that I had never experienced before in my life. I felt like my whole body was on fire. Every single nerve ending was on edge. As Deanâs hand explored, from my face to my arms, from my arms to my thighs. There had never been a single moment in my life to compare to this. Not even what I remembered from my first night in the bunker.
Y/N,â Dean said huskily. â I need you. I need to feel you.â
Before I even knew what I said, I told him that I needed him too. Dean leaned in, kissed me so sweetly, so softly, I felt like I was floating on a cloud. Then in the next second, his kiss became so passionate, I could feel his desire pulsating from his body, mine responded in kind. This man was the one thing that I never knew I needed. I needed to feel him, I needed to feel him all over my body. As he kissed me, my body betrayed me by pushing against back. God, this was the absolute bliss that I had been searching for my entire life.
With almost no effort at all it seemed, Dean pulled me and into his arm in one smooth movement. As he carried me down the hall to his bedroom, I wrapped my arms around his neck and almost snuggled in. The heat coming off him was intoxicating. In a matter of seconds, he had us in his room and he gently laid me down on the bed.Â
Slowly, Dean propped up beside me and leaned down. His kiss took my breath away. His hands had become my new favorite thing in that moment. They started at my face, enveloping me in a warm embrace, moving from there, they slowly moved down my arms, inching towards my thighs. Every single moment made me crave him even more. His hands hit my legs and they made their way to the buttons that kept me covered. Second by second, he undid every single button in my jeans.
When the last button gave way, Dean pulled my jeans off me. As he tossed then towards the wall, his hands were instantly back where I needed them, on my body. Dean pushed every bit of material away from the two of us until there was nothing between us but air. His hand moved as if they had a mind of their own, teasing me with every touch. His mouth, his tongue, they had me spiraling into depths that I had never experienced.
I was oblivious of everything around me as our bodies met, pushed apart, and met again. I could feel his every action, his every move, it even seemed, his every thought. My body arched as the orgasm rippled through me. I was barely aware that Dean had slowed his pace. As my body slowly recovered, Dean whispered in my ear, telling me he wasnât even close to being don with me. Like the first spark of a bonfire, he set me on fire again and again until I barely even knew who I was.
Finally, Dean, spent, rolled over and tried to catch his breath. After the fireworks passed, the emotional explosions were done, I laid there, my head on his back. I longed for something to say to him to express what this was like for me. No words came to mind. This man, in a manner of a few weeks, had come to mean everything to me. Yet I couldnât come up with anything to tell him, nothing to express what I felt for him, no words would form to express my heart.
âBaby, are you ok?â Dean inquired as he rolled over onto his back. âI didnât get too rough or anything did I?â
âOh no, Dean. That was, well, that was perfect,â I answered as I curled back up next to him.
He lifted his arm and I laid my head on his chest. His arm came down around me and pulled me even closer to him. I could hear the rapid beat of his heart. The sound of the thump was almost perfection to me. Despite the fact that I was literally exhausted, I could not fall asleep. I laid there for hours just listening to his heartbeat as it slowed, leveling out to a nice and slow pace. This was definitely something I wanted for the rest of my life. God, I hope I donât screw it up.

A/N: Hereâs Chapter 2 @supernatural-jackles. This fills my second square of The Bunker. I hope you like it. I actually have a square for this bingo that is slow burn, but I think my whole series is gonna be a slow burn⌠well, up until the last 3 parts, I think.Â
Missed Chapter 1, get caught up here!
PAIRING: Dean x Reader
WORD COUNT: 2247 (??? I made a few adjustments while trying to post this, so that is an approximate count)
WARNING: literally, I donât think there are any in this chapter either. Not what you were expecting, I know, but thereâs so much more to come!
SUMMARY: So Chapter 1 left off with a crazy ass night for our reader. Chapter 2 starts at the next morning. Itâs a little slow but Iâm building it up for yâall. Please enjoy!!
All mistakes are my own, sorry! Iâve had a drink (or maybe 2) but I have poured over this at least 6 times now so I am seriously sorry if I missed anything!)

Ugg, the pounding in my head was unbearable. Slowly, I rolled over, reaching for my bottle of water, and found nothing. That instantly woke me up all the way. Where in the fuck was I? Little by little, the details of the room sunk in. First and most obvious, this was not my room. Second thing that registered, I didnât have any clothes on. With as much dread as a prostitute going to confession, I turned around in the bed to see the presence I felt beside me.
Holy fuck! What in the living hell did I do last night? Whiskey! I remembered a bottle of whiskey, and my arm! Quickly, I reached up and checked out my arm. Very little bleeding through the night so that was a good sign. Did I really have sex with Dean Winchester? I must be losing my mind. As slowly as I could, I eased myself out of the bed, looking for my clothes. Geeze, there were all sorts of clothes everywhere on the floor. I had just found my shirt and slipped into it when the unthinkable happened; he woke up.

As slowly as I could, I eased myself out of the bed, looking for my clothes. Geeze, there were all sorts of clothes everywhere on the floor. I had just found my shirt and slipped into it when the unthinkable happened; he woke up.
âDoes your head hurt as bad as mine?â he asked as he groaned into a sitting position.
âThat would definitely be an affirmative. What the hell happened last night?â
âThatâs not usually the first thing I hear after a morning like last night.â
âAnd thatâs half my problem. You are basically a gutter slut from what I hear. Was I just another notch in your belt?â
âOk, ok. Look, seems like we are off on the wrong foot, AGAIN,â Dean stated as he pulled his jeans on. âHow about some breakfast and we start over?â
I watched him as he grabbed his shirt on the way out of the room. I really stepped in the shit this time. Frantically, I searched my mind, trying to understand how this happened. The drangue, yes, I remembered that. The explosion, Dean pulled me out of the house and basically kidnapped me as he threw me in his car. I remembered coming to the bunker and him stitching my arm. And the whiskey, shit, I must have drank the whole bottle! I couldnât remember anything but flashes after that.
Slowly, I pulled my own jeans on, found my boots and socks. Once, I was finally dressed, I still couldnât come out of the room just yet. Dean fucking Winchester. I just couldnât wrap my brain around this. I felt like a traitor even though there wasnât any reason to. I just couldnât get that he had saved me and then I slept with him, one of the two men that I literally could not stand.
I couldn't put it off any longer. Sucking in a deep breath, I exited the room and headed back towards what i thought was the front of this crazy place, I hoped. Within a few seconds I found myself back at that large table. Images started flashing through my head. Deanâs eyes, Deanâs lips, the touch of his hand on my arm, his touch on my thigh. This was fucking insane! I glanced upwards towards the impressive staircase. That was my exit. I wondered if I could get out of here without him noticing. I was half way up, when I heard him call my name. Fuck everything that was holy!
âY/N, where you going? I cooked us something to eat.â
âOh, I just thought I would check the weather.â
Check the weather? What the hell was that? Was I still in high school?
âWell come on. Itâs getting cold.â
Reluctantly, I climbed back down the stairs and headed in his direction. Entering the kitchen, my senses had my mouth watering. He had gone all out. There were fried eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, and even a really large stack of pancakes.
âI had no idea what you would like, so I kind of made a variety.â
âNo, this is good. I eat all of this,â I answered, suddenly ravenous.
And eat all of it I did. I started with the pancakes, which were some of the fluffiest I had ever tasted. Then I jumped right into the eggs and sausage. Twenty minutes later, I was as full as a tick on a stray dog.Â
âSo, can we talk, reasonably, now?â
âWe can talk. I canât promise to be reasonable. Iâm still not really sure about this whole deal.â
Before Dean could say anything, I heard a commotion from the other room. Next thing I knew, I was in the presence of both of the Winchesters. This just kept getting better and better.
âHey Dean. Oh, sorry, I didnât know you had company.â
âSammy, meet Y/N. I ran into her last night chasing down that kulshedra.â
âNice to meet you Y/N,â Sam said as he offered me his hand.
âUm, same here, I guess,â i replied as I gingerly shook his hand.
Samâs look was one that could have been interpreted in several ways. I chose to just ignore it all together. Instead, I went with my same question from the night before, since he brought it up.
âThatâs the second time you have mentioned a kulshedra? What the heck is that? I came to that house last night chasing a drangue.â
âA drangue? Wait, so you two were chasing both of them?â Sam questioned.
âAs far as I can tell Sammy, she was chasing the son and we were chasing mom.â
âSomebody please fill me in. I have never heard of a kulshedra.â
âLet me, Dean. Ok, from all the lore I have read, the kulshedra is basically the mom to a drangue. They, when they are born, have a life long, a single urge, to defy and defeat the kulshedra. If they lose, then mom, if you like, basically gets to destroy the world.â
âSo all this time, Iâve been chasing the wrong thing?â
âWell, sort of. You were basically on the right track, just the wrong deity in this fight.â
âI just donât know if I can keep up with all this. My mind is basically overwhelmed. First, Dean fucking Winchester steps in and saves my life. Then the two of you tell me for almost the past year I have been chasing the wrong creature. I guess next you will tell me everything I have known is wrong?â
âWell, I donât really know. We donât know what all you know.â
I looked at the both of them. They seemed sincere. Once more, my brain was destined to betray me as I thought that maybe, just maybe, they were being honest. I spent the next hour filling them in, explaining all the lore that I had consumed over the past year.Â
âSo, in all that reading you did, you never came across any references of the kulshedra?â Dean asked, sincerely interested, much to my dismay.
âI ran across a few references of a being that it was âdestinedâ to fight. But none of it panned out. I kept running into dead ends. So, obviously, I disregarded it all.â
âNot to be critical, but that was probably your first mistake,â Sam told me.
The next couple of hours passed in a blur. Between Sam and Dean, they filled me in on so much that I had missed, we all just kept going back and forth with what we knew.. None of the information that they shared rang any bells for me. For the second time in less than a day, I felt like a complete asshole. All this time, all that research, and I missed the most important part of all of it. God, how had I been so stupid!
âLook, Y/N, your research was good. You just missed the references. That doesnât mean you fucked up. Even without the kulshedra in it, you still tracked the drangue for how many months?â Sam questioned.
âSeven months, Sam. Seven long months.â
âSo, yes, everything I said to you last night is still true,â Dean interjected. âSeven months you used your research, you tracked every storm, which led you to where I found you last night. Donât beat yourself up. The fact that you got that far is what made me say what I did last night.â
âEasy for you to say,â I replied, trying to remember what he told me last night.
âLook Y/N, maybe we take our combined research and put it all together. Then maybe we can track both of them even faster.â
âIâve told you all I know at this point. I donât know what else I can do to help.â
âHey Sam, letâs take a break for awhile. We can come back at this in a few hours.â
Sam agreed. I sat there, still at the table with my breakfast plate in front of me. Everything they had said was reeling inside my brain, causing my hangover to be even worse than I thought possible. I glanced up at Dean and my breath hitched for a second. He was watching me with those beautiful eyes. I chastised myself. There was absolutely no way that I would allow myself to fall for this guy. Dean, the man who had caused me so many troubles throughout my life. Nope, no way. Not gonna happen.
âWell, with Samâs approval, we have a few hours off. Is there anything you would like to do?â
âI donât know. I am still trying to soak in the fact that I am here, in the Winchesterâs bunker, against my will.
âY/N, you are not here against your will. Is that what you think about last night?â
âLook, Dean. I am not sure of anything at this moment. All I DO know is I was on a hunt last night, you swooped in, dragged me out of a situation I thought I had under control, and this morning? I wake up in your bed, with no clothes on! What do you seriously think I am gonna think this morning? Not to mention all this info your brother just shared with me?â
âY/N, please, I know things were a little hookey last night. But I swear to you, I would not do anything that you didnât want to do. Last night? That was actually special for me. Something that I had never done before.â
Oh my goodness, this man knew all the words to pull at the heartstrings. Did I believe him? I really didnât know, most likely not. All I knew about this man was the reputation that preceded him. I just looked at him and shook my head. I beat down every single emotion I had when it came to love. That was a concept that I just could not get into. For me, there was no such emotion. Love was a myth, a legend, a fantasy; nothing that could be counted on. What good did it get someone to âloveâ someone? Nothing! This so-called emotion only helped get you killed. It was a weakness and nothing more.
âWell, we have a little time. Do you want a tour of the bunker?â
âSure. What else do I have to do?â I replied out of sheer desperation
Dean rose from the table and reached for my hand. Reluctantly, I responded in kind. For the next hour and a half, he took me room to room, explaining everything, I guess, that he knew about the Men In Letters and their secret location. He told me how the bunkerâs creation was finished in 1835. He explained how after hundreds of years, the bunker contained pretty much any and everything that had to do with the supernatural. I absorbed the information, best that I could, and archived it. I watched him; his looks, his emotions, his attitude, as we went from room to room.
The main thing I took away from Deanâs tour was a sense of pride. He was proud that he came from this lineage. Honestly, I would be also. The Men of Letters had done marvelous things here. The history, the lineage, the ghastly amounts of information, the legacies; they were distinguished, something to be proud of. Deep down, I felt like Dean shared those qualities with his past.
I watched him as he talked, taking me room to room. Against my will, I felt my heart softening just a little. Maybe I had been a tad preemptive in judging these guys. I mean, really? I, of all people, know how the rumor mill likes to pump shit out. So, maybe, just maybe, I needed to give them a little break.
We made our way back to the âlibraryâ, as Dean called it. As we entered, Sam was set up at the table with a stack of books and two laptops in front of him.
âGot anything new Sammy?â
âHonestly, no. There are no storms brewing anywhere. No signs at all of any atmospheric disturbances. There is nothing out there.â
âFuck!âÂ
I could feel the frustration reeling off Dean in that moment cause I felt it also. All these months, all those deaths, all those missed opportunities, and now nothing. Somehow, I actually felt partly responsible that we lost them. If only I had followed every single lead in my research, maybe I would have been better prepared. With an internal sigh, I decided to give the brothers a break and try to learn from them instead of rebelling against them.
âWell, guys, thereâs only one thing we can do then,â I stated.
âWhatâs that?â
ââWe hunker down and find them. We finish this for once and for all.â

White light flashed upon the skies as I crept my way towards the house. The storm has been raging for the past three days. Rain fell like stones, heavy droplets. Winds weaved past me as if I was in the middle of a hurricane. Thunder boomed across the land like military bombs exploding 100 yards beyond myself. Lightning flashed across the skies, across the world, as if the sun had exploded.
This was it! This was the site I had been tracking for months. Every time a storm like this showed itself, death followed. For the exact same months I had been beating myself up for not killing this drangue. Enough was enough, I thought to myself, as I kept getting closer to the house. All my research, all those hours pouring over every single legend I could find had led me here. If I fail, the world is doomed.

All my research, all those hours pouring over every single legend I could find had led me here. If I fail, the world is doomed.
Finally, the house is within touching distance. I slowly pull myself up to the nearest window sill. The sight that I could see within; it scares me to the soul. As I look into the window, itâs like a glimpse into the supernatural. Not that the supernatural scares me, I seriously have seen enough to scare even the most seasoned hunter. But this, this was something WAY beyond anything I have ever experienced.
The view inside the window was so confusing. As I looked in, I saw two beings that looked like they were in a death throe; twisting, biting, struggling, locked in death. At one point I would swear I saw a lion. But a second glance, or my hindsight, I saw clouds, angry clouds, swirling around each other; lightning flashing every two seconds, ripples in everything as the thunder vibrated through my bones. The scene unraveling before me was one that I could barely comprehend.
Regardless of what I was seeing, I knew what I had to do. This drangue had to stop, it had to die. I had witnessed over thirty deaths from these storms. Thirty deaths! There wasnât a monster out there that I would ever consider letting live after this. I skulked around the corner of the house until I found the side door. I pushed the door open, bracing against the wind that I anticipated to encounter. Pushing the door with all my might, it gave way suddenly and I fell straight to the floor.
Once inside the house, it seemed as if everything I had seen through the window was just an illusion. The forces outside the house fell away. Inside there was no wind, no sound, no rain, nothing; just silence. I slowly stood up and took my first steps toward the entries. There was no resistance. I stopped in my confusion for a moment as it was hard for me to take in what was happening. As I was trying to get my bearings, there was a deafening report.
The sound caused me to fall to the floor, curling up in a ball as the recoil seemed to resonate through my very soul. I laid there, shaking, as the ripples of sound pulsed through me as if they were never going to end, My brain felt like it was on fire! The light was plummeting at me with no end. I lay there, withering on the floor, the pain was like nothing I have ever experienced before. Through the blinding pain in my head, I barely recognized a human form, reaching out, offering a hand. I reached up and grabbed the hand and it jerked me up and pulled. There was so much going on in that very second, my I could hardly keep up.
The entities, a moment ago were swirling and fighting as if to the death. Now they seemed to be shocked into stillness. The clouds that were boiling moments ago now seemed to be stalled. The lightning had faded as well as the thunder. Just as my mind took in these thoughts, I was pulled through the room and out the door I had just entered. I stumbled coming through the door and fell to the ground, landing hard.
âWhat the hell do you think you were doing?â a very angry voice yelled at me.
âWhat the hell are you doing?â I quickly replied, striving to see who the hell this person was.Â
Just as quickly as I replied, this man yanked me back up and dragged me through the woods. I kept glancing back, trying to see what was going on with the drangue. I couldnât see anything. There was no more storm, no winds, rain, nothing. Maybe this man killed it before I could. At that moment I was still so dazed I really didnât know anything. Finally, he broke through the tree line and as I saw the vehicle before me, all I could think was hell fucking no. NOT HIM!
Just as he did everything else in what was literally probably only in the past sixty seconds, he opened the Impalaâs door and basically threw me in the passenger seat. My mind felt like mush as I laid there trying to comprehend everything that had just happened. Just as his reputation preceded him, he jumped behind the driverâs seat and took off, spewing rocks and dirt in his wake. The trees flew past as I stared out the window. What the hell had just happened; that was the only thought that kept going through my mind as the miles flew under us.
As the landscape flew past, I was having a hard time trying to shake the haze that enveloped my mind. I felt like I was in a dream, nothing seemed real as my mind was racing as fast as the Impala was racing down the road. Dean Winchester, seriously? Of all the hunters in the world, this was the person that ârescuedâ me from this encounter.Â
Slowly, as the pavement flew beneath the tires of the black beast, my head cleared out. I turned around in my seat to look at the infamous Dean Winchester. He had not uttered a single word since we took off. He had a strong grip on the steering wheel and the only emotion I could read off him was anger. His eyebrows were furrowed together, jaws clenched as if he was holding back a million angry things to say. Then he turned to look at me. Never in my life had I ever seen such green eyes. The literally seemed to sparkle brighter than any emerald I had looked upon.
âWhat in the hell did you think you were doing back there?â
âMe? What were you doing back there? I had been tracking that drangue for months and now you just blew it,â I yelled back at him, instantly furious again.
âYou were way over your head. You were gonna get yourself killed. I just saved your ass.â
The beauty of his angry face was instantly wasted on me. The arrogance of this man! But then again, thatâs what the Winchesterâs were known for. No one ever knew more than them.
âYou need to stop this car and let me out. Now.â
âNo, you arenât in any shape to be on your own at the moment.â
âLike hell Iâm not. Believe it or not Dean, most of us out here in the real world can take care of ourselves without your help.â
âReally?â he asked, with a slight smirk on his face. âHowâs that arm feeling?â
Confused, I looked down at my arms. My left arm was covered in blood. Jesus, I must be in shock. Somehow during the time he grabbed me and pulled me out of the house, he had managed to get a tourniquet on it and I never even noticed. I pulled back the cloth and I could see a very nasty gash on my upper arm. It was about five inches long and I thought I could see bone in one spot.Â
âThe arm is just fine, thank you very much,â I answered back, pouting just a little bit more than I had intended.
âSure it is.â
Silence surrounded us once more. I was still furious at him for intruding in my hunt the way he did. But at the same time, I guess I was a little grateful. God only knows when my arm got hurt. I probably would have bled to death if he hadnât been there. That was definitely not something I was gonna tell him though.
âLook, the bunker isnât that far away. Let me get you back there, we will fix your arm up, and then you can be on your merry little way. How about that?â
âFine. But you are gonna have to drive me back to my truck. Iâm not walking back.â
I heard him utter a light chuckle and his laugh brought a small smile to my face. Wait. No, no, hell no! What the fuck was going through my mind? I canât stand these guys. They had caused me so much trouble over the years and I bet they didnât even know it. I canât stand a man with an ego and both these boys seemed like they had more than enough for the whole world.
The rest of the ride I spent glaring out the window, berating myself for getting in this situation. Every now and then giving myself a quick kick in the mental ass when I thought about his rather beautiful face. I felt like I could just scream!
I was pulled out of my thoughts when Dean pulled the car to the side of the road and killed the engine. Without a word, he just climbed out of the car and started walking towards a door on a hill. Well, I guess this is the bunker. Slowly, I got out and followed him. By the time I got to the door, he was out of sight. Cautiously, I entered and caught my breath as I looked down and around. I was still taking it all in when I saw Dean come back in sight.
âYou drink whiskey?â he asked as he set a bottle down on a large table.
âWhat respectable hunter doesnât?â
âWell come on then. Letâs get some in you before we stitch that arm up.â
As I climbed down the staircase and joined him at the table, Dean poured three fingers worth in two glasses. He motioned me into a chair with one of the glasses. I picked it up and knocked it back in one smooth swallow. It was kind of cute how he looked kind of surprised at me when I set the glass back down. Without a word, he refilled it and then poured another for himself. He pushed the bottle towards me and turned around and just left. Geeze, this man was something else.
As I sat there, sipping on my drink, I looked at all the books. Everything had an antique feel to it, such an old vibe. I had heard the rumors about this place and had often wondered what it was like. The amount of knowledge here was almost unending. A small part of my brain whispered maybe thatâs why they act like they do, cause they actually do know more than the rest of us. I shook my head, trying to erase the good thoughts that kept creeping in. I was bound and determined to hold on to my anger.
Dean came sauntering back in holding what looked like a really large first aid kit. He set it on the table and began pulling supplies out.
âKill that and then kill another. That cut is really deep so this is gonna hurt some.â
Without questioning, I did as he said and then inhaled one more just for good measure. Dean slid his chair next to mine and took the tourniquet off. As he cleaned the blood off, I could smell him. Even though we had just been in the middle of whatever that was, he smelled so good. A light musty, masculine scent. I leaned in just a little closer. Yep, I was beginning to feel that whiskey for sure.
âSo, how about a name? Obviously, you already know who I am.â
âEvery hunter in the world knows you and your brother,â I piped back even though I knew he was only trying to help distract me.
âIs that a bad thing?â
âDepends on who you ask I guess.â
âIâm asking you.â
I looked up at him. Damn, I could just melt into those eyes. Those eyes were really the only thing I needed to distract myself if I were to be honest. There was a softness to them now. They werenât so bright anymore but still just as exquisite.
âUm, my name is Y/N.â
Instantly, the beauty in this manâs face was gone as I grimaced when he pushed the needle through the tender flesh. Instantly, I reached for the bottle and poured myself another shot. That was only the first stitch! Hope he has another bottle somewhere.
âSo, tell me about yourself Y/N. How did you get into hunting?â
âMy story is pretty much the same as most hunters. Nightmare from hell when I was young. Met up with some good people who trained me and thatâs all I have known since I was a teenager,â I answered, pouring yet another shot. âThis bottle is going to be empty pretty soon, you know.â
âDonât move that arm,â he ordered as he got up.
In less than a minute he was back with a brand new bottle.Â
âThat should last us until I get this done,â Dean said as he poured himself another glass also. âOk, so your name is Y/N, tragedy when you were young, trained, formidable, high pain tolerance, and smart.â
The look on my face must have surprised him because he actually laughed out loud. This man thought I was formidable and smart. Wow! I felt kind of proud of myself at that moment.
âWhy so surprised?â he asked me. âYou are one tough hunter.â
âI donât know. Guess it just shocked me that you, Dean Winchester, would say something like that about me. Fuck, I donât know even a quarter of what you know.â
âDonât tell my brother I said this but heâs really the smart one. Always has his nose in a book somewhere,â Dean laughed as he poured us both another glass.
We fell into a comfortable silence as he finished sticking my arm. By this point, I couldnât even feel the needle as it weaved itâs way through my skin. My head was spinning as the whiskey worked itâs magic. I raised my eyes to look at Dean. The look on his face was one of deep concentration. Without even thinking about what I was doing, I raised my hand and gently touched the side of his face.
âWhat was that for?â he gently asked.
âUmm, nothing really. Sorry.âÂ
I could feel the heat rising in my cheeks. Damn my hormones! What in the hell did I think I was doing? I could feel his touch on my arm. He had such a soft touch, definitely not something I was expecting from him. I watched as he finished the last stitch and tenderly cleaned my arm up. Next, he took a roll of gauze and wrapped my wound. Then his hands stilled. I looked up and saw yet another shade of green in his eyes.Â
âAll done now,â he said softly.
âYep. Looks like it,â I whispered, feeling the heat in more places than just my face now.
âI donât think you are in any condition to drive though.â
âProbably not.â
âBeds arenât the best here but they can get kind of cozy.â
âOk.â
I was drowning in those eyes and my brain wasnât working at all. I couldnât seem to say anything. I felt his hand slide down my arm and land on my leg.
âI really want to kiss you right now.â
I couldnât get any words to come out of my mouth at that moment. I let my gaze drop to that gorgeous mouth of his, watching it as he moved in closer. When our lips met, my eyes closed. Whiskey or not, in that moment I felt like I was in heaven. I breathed him in as I reached up to pull him closer, tighter. Then abruptly, he pulled back.
âCome with me,â he demanded as he took my arm and pulled me up.
Quickly, he led me through the bunker and down a hall. As he opened one of the doors, he turned around and kissed me again, harder this time. The heat was raging through my like a living inferno. God, I wanted him so bad. His hands, on my hips, guided me backwards until my legs bumped into the bed. Laughing, we both fell.Â
âAre you sure you are good with this Y/N?â
âAbsolutely not. I really hate you and I know without a doubt that I am going to regret this in the morning,â I answered back smiling. âBut what the hell. Tomorrow is a new day!â

Teaser.... Iâm working hard on this new series... Thought I would give you all, those that are interested, a little tease to the new series...Hope you enjoy...
Enough was enough, I thought to myself, as I kept getting creeping closer to the house.
So I joined @supernatural-jackles Tell Me A Story Challenge and boy, did she do me an excellent bingo card. Got a whole new series outlined and in the process, just in case anyone is interested. Been a while since I posted anything so I hope I can still bring the angst. Stay tuned!
