Wait a fucking second–you’ve already had tea? And you’re still this mean? You have a problem, Hazel. We’re sending you to tea-aholics anonymous. 

“So, when are we makin’ s’mores? I have a bag of all the essentials–crackers, marshmallows and plenty of chocolate. I tried to get a decent variety to accommodate all tastes and dietary restrictions.”

Hazel checked her watch and shrugged, smiling. “Now?”

To Mika, there was no such thing as too much coffee. Coffee was her life. She ran on coffee. So, when the girl in front of her asked this question, Mika was stunned. “All the coffee.”

“Dunno, can’t say I noticed. I’ve always been more of a coffee guy personally.”

“Thank you! It’s a celebration for finally getting out of my teens!” She grinned. “So. Have i missed a lot?”

“What’s your brand? I mean, personally, I’ll drink any tea as long as it’s not shite, but that’s just me.”

“The halloumi wrap? I didn’t even notice that - I’ll have to try it. Yeah, I totally know what you mean. I used to get tea every day as well, I’m surprised we didn’t bump into each other earlier!”

“I’m very sorry to be the breaker of bad news,” despite being (just a little bit) amused by how stuck the other was on her tea, Delilah managed a frown, before giving a tiny nod, “That’s not a half bad idea, you know. Pack up one of those little tin things and carry it around in your bag all day, everyday– you’d be saving yourself this heartbreak, if ever you go somewhere and find the menus shifted. All failing that, caffeine supplements can be almost as good.”

“Aye, bevvy. Ah used to get a breakfast tea. Ye? Whit ye lookin’ for?”

She couldn’t help but smile at the broadness of his Scottish accent. “Breakfast tea too. I’m a Tetley girl but it’s impossible to get here so my dad sends it over for me in care packages.”

“Yep, cold. I know they have strawberry, mango green tea, coconut cream… The mango green tea is my personal favorite. I don’t think I’ve tried any of the others…”

“I don’t know.. sometimes all it takes is one student or someone to say something.. or maybe they just thought it was time for a change? It’s quite good actually.. the other tea. Maybe you can talk to someone about the kind you like.” He wrote

Hey now. [he rubs his arm as if her punch actually hurt him] What the fuck–no one is going to listen to you bitch if you hit your friends. 

Noticing the girl’s sigh, Aubrey raised her brows “Is the tea such a great loss? And yes, they do. I recommend the spicy dark chocolate or the hazelnut one.“

“It’s a very big loss. I have a seriously deep connection to tea. It’s got a special place in my heart.” She paused, crinkling her nose. “And my daily routine.” She nodded, looking a little apprehensive but like she was buying into it. “Hm. Those do sound quite nice.”
