I let Hilda be in her underdress to signal how vulnerable and raw she is feeling here. This is her, alone in her room, resenting resenting HATING despairing

Her dress is white. Despite everything all she ever wanted was to save her country no matter the cost. Even if it meant dooming another. A twisted pure-hearted maiden indeed.

One of my favorite loz headcanons is that Hilda specifically dressed the way she does in albw to closely resemble Zelda, tugging on Link's sense of familiarity to make it easier to manipulate him. Get you a woman that goes the extra mile!!!

I actually wanted to make an background on Zelda's side of the mirror, but then it started to look too much like a zoom meeting so black void it is. (Backgrounds are hard anyways)
