🌹 *╱         AREN’T VILLAIN KIDS SUPPOSED to be mean?    that’s the first thing that slips into darcy’s mind as soon as she turns to see who’s speaking to her.    the queen bee blinks a couple of times in surprise,   long lashes fluttering,    before she steps aside.    ‘    of course,    ’    darcy responds,   offering her a small smile.    it’s the least she can do;    if it were darcy in mal’s shoes,    her request probably would’ve included some rougher tones around the edges,   at least one dramatic sigh-slash-huff,    and definitely one hair flip.    ‘    just for that valiant display of kindness.   ’    darcy’s eyes narrow as she teases the other,    pulling out a stick of pink lipgloss before she turns back to the mirror on her locker door.

     at   that   moment   mal   wants   nothing   more   than   to   tear   at   the   other.                    she  knows  she      could,      even  without  laying  a      FINGER      on  darcy.  eyes  even  heat  up,  warning  at  a  flash  of      green      was  imminent  if  blood  pressure  kept  rising.  but  mal  knows  better,  and  wants  to      BE      better.  there’s  a  small,  internal  sigh  and  she  keeps  the  forced  smile  on  her  lips.           ❛           thanks.           ❜           she  would  have  loved  to  knock  the  lip  gloss      right  out      of  her  hands  if  she  could.
