     ❝ but when will i ever use it ? the down payment’s cheap, but the car itself is worth what ? almost seventy-thousand for the really good specs ? that’s a lot of money for something that i’m probably going to use once or twice a year… whatever, fuck it. ❞ he types in his payment details as fast as he can, darting his cursor towards the ‘ buy it now ’ button before releasing a loud sigh and pressing down, the screen now showing a BIG confirmation page. ❝       why do i feel so guilty about spending money ? maybe i need some exposure therapy ! what else should we buy ? ❞

Frankie was picking up their pizza order. They arrived too early and were standing, back against the wall, staring down at their phone as they mindlessly scrolled Instagram. They were trying to look busy. But when their name was called, they stepped forward and bumped into a waitress. “Oh my gosh, sorry! Are you good?”

Noah walked up to the pizza place and saw the waitress standing outside. “Not ready to face the crowd?” He joked, sticking his tongue out at her. “It’s getting too cold to stand out here.” He was all bundled up already, only thing he didn’t put on yet was a hat, just an ear warmer to protect his ears but keep his hair free. He liked to have his hair out for as long as possible in the winter.

      DECEMBER’S ALWAYS A GOOD time for dakota. usually the twenty-six year old’s quite frugal and won’t spend much money, but december means that christmas is near and that’s definitely a valid excuse to start spending a whole lot of cash ! ❝ mali, help me. i need your opinion on something very important. ❞ he turns his laptop around so the other’s able to view the car that’s currently on his screen. ❝ do i preorder the tesla cybertruck ? it’s ugly as fuck but it also looks kinda cool… help. ❞ 

Mali looked around calmly sipping her drink, everyone was dancing and having a good time but she needed a second or two to calm down and rest, besides she enjoyed observing people, seeing how they moved, how they acted, their little quirks,it was all just extremely interesting to her and she could spend the whole night doing just that. She should have known Valentina wouldn’t let her, though. The other girl appeared quickly in front of her, laughing and exclaiming loudly that this was her favorite song and she just needed to dance with her. Mali laughed too, letting herself be dragged to the dancefloor holding tight to the other girl’s hand.

𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝: 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞

lydia was out purchasing some new art supplies,  she’d allowed her collection to shrink far more than she’d been comfortable with,  and she felt the need to replenish her supply before she actually ran out of something in the middle of a project.  her arms were full,  she’d foolishly neglected to grab a cart when she first began her shopping trip,  knowing full well she’d be getting more than she could carry,  and she was mentally scolding herself as some of her items continued to fall out of her arms and onto the floor of the store.  ❝  um,  excuse me,  ❞  she says,  addressing the person nearest to her.  ❝  i really hate to bother you,  but do you think you could give me a hand ?  i grabbed way more than i could carry,  and i still need to get some more things.  i really should’ve grabbed a cart.  ❞

growing up,  her mother had never really been supportive of her career as an artist,  and while it stuck with her,  lydia refused to back down from her passions,  she was only determined to prove to her mother just what she could do with art,  and she had.  she knew how important it was to extend that support she never received to other artists,  in order to ensure that they’d never give up.  ❝  no need to thank me,  mali.  i’m only telling you the truth,  really,  ❞  lydia answered her honestly,  though she said it with a smile,  she was happy to see how much mali appreciated the compliment.  ❝  it’s going to happen for you,  but i’m glad you feel that way.  ❞

she loved knowing other artists,  it was easier for lydia to connect with them,  as they often understood the way her mind worked,  and how she used art to deal with her emotions.  she’d always been supportive of every artist she’d ever met,  the one’s who were even more successful than her,  the artists who had about the same amount of success as she had,  and the people just starting out.  in her mind,  artists should have always been supportive of each other.  ❝  hey,  this piece is really amazing,  ❞  she stated,  gesturing to the particular art she was referring to.  ❝  your big break is coming,  i know it.  ❞

“Hm?” she hummed looking up from her book, letting out a chuckle as she saw the other, “Oh no, the pout.” Sam got up from where she had been draped, “Where is it?” talking about the itch on her back as she started to run her nails down Mali’s back, “Am I getting it?”

“Have I ever told you you are the best?” Mali sighed happily. “Because you are, you are basically a professional at this.” she said turning around to Sam. “What would I do without you? “ She stretched lazily and went back to her position on the couch. “If you want some new logo for your shop or something I’m very willing to help you out with it as payment.”
