There should be a town dedicated to Green Day called “City of the Damned.” There would be a street called “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” and everyone who lived there would be a Green Day fan. There could be a church on the ouskirts of town called “Jesus of Suburbia” where people worshipped “St. Jimmy.” There should be a holiday called “Holiday” where people got together to celebrate Green Day. All of September people would play “Wake Me Up When September Ends” and proceed to hibernate and be lazy for a month. “Dearly Beloved” could be played at weddings, and “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” at funerals. No “American Idiot[s]” would be allowed. Honestly I would be “Having a Blast” as I was “Welcome[d] to Paradise.”
