Want to learn to #sew #learntosew clothes. Started with a simple self drafted skirt for my niece. Skills practiced: waistband, working with elastic, #appliqué, pockets, adding a lining, #embroidery, #piecing, hand and machine sewing. The satin material was pretty but pretty terrible to work with; want to try cotton or linen next.
