Handed in animation (final)
My poster hanging on level 5 with the rationale printed below.
Mock up A2 posters
These are tiled versions of my posters.
The two posters side by side was when I wanted to see how the type would come out if it was darker rather then light.
The photo on the left was my final tile up before sending my poster to get printed A2.
Motion trial
I tried to see if making the smaller text bigger could create some kind of impact, obviously I need to do something with the type underneath, but i was testing how this could work. Now I am looking at how I can integrate this into my full motion poster.

Motion trial
Could make the text follow the lines outward.
Could make lines and text fade in/out at different times.
Further exploration of layout and line composition in relation to the type after feedback.
Feedback from week 8
"lines were drawn on and off the feild" - reconfigure the lines and think about what words go together.
integrate the text and lines
strip back - do you need the texture in the back?
could explore the two sides
decontructed print of the pitch
type hierachy
lines extending from type
2.6 Contextual Annotation—Motion Graphics (100)
Guaraná - Coisa nossa By Willy Barros
This motion graphics poster uses smooth and organic continuous movement to create a loop while communicating relevant information about the campaign. We see the can appear in a bounce type motion, the type is already set on the page but slightly mimics the motion of the can. I like how the type sweeps behind the can and reappears on the other side reading something different, this is something I could use in my design. The contrast between the bright deep green and the bold red illustrations help to create a focal point for the animation.Â
Brand: Guaraná
Agency: Broders
Studio: Pobo Filmes
Animated piece for the Guaraná brand.
Campaign in support of Brazilian women's football.

Week 9 exploration and refinements
I feel like the green works better to communicate my idea in 2 ways.
1) green is associated with 'field' which is part of the type so i think it communicates my site clearer which can be understood through the relation between the type and the colour.
2) Represents South Africa and the springboks uniform is this shade of green further showing this poster is looking into the springbok tour events that happened at eden park.
Week 8 exploration
Playing with layout, new colours, texture and hierarchy.

Practicing using a storyboard to plan out my animation
In class exercise: Make something that loops
In class exercise: Make something slow
In class exercise: Make something fast
Peer inspiration
I like how in all of these posters type is the main focal point in whichever way its used. In all the posters the type also interacts with another element, weather its a line, shape or another piece of type. the overlapping creates a sense of depth and adds visual interest to the poster. I would like to use more of this in my design without adding too much to the point where its overwhelming. I would also like to use a typeface that reflects my idea a little better.

Spin:Â BBCÂ Reith campaign
I like how this animation alternates equally by changing the scale of the groups of type. This could be used with 2 different groups on information trying to be communicates as it individually highlights one group at a time.

In class exercise 3
we were learning how to use compositions and adding shapes and type. I decided to make the type 'wiggle wiggle' actually wiggle by rotating it back and forward. While also changing the positioning of "playing around" to make it slide in from the side of the page.
