GREEN SMOOTHIE

Recently I try to start my day with a green smoothie. It gives me some kind of kickstart to healthier eating troughout the whole day. Here's one of my favourite recipes (makes approx. 3 big glasses which you can store 1-2 days in the refrigerator):

2-3 cups spinach

1 small apple

1 oz. lemon or lime juice

1 banana (preferably frozen)

½ bunch parsley

piece of ginger

½ cup pineapple juice

5-6 ice cubes

1 cup coconut water

Mince all ingredients finely with an hand-held blender (the parsley should be pureed really good), then put in blender, add coconut water and mix really well with the ice cubes. Voila, tasty AND healthy!
