After reading about the new info on Damon’s character….
Bro.. what the hell… he is the writers’ goddamn punching bag frr.. they hate him so much.
Look I know they were just ideas that could’ve been scrapped, but why’d they gotta do him so dirty like that??
His overall character arc feels like character derailment in my opinion.
I think the writers forgot what their own game is even about… Might as well rename it to Project Eden’s dating sim cause it doesn’t feel like the same one at all.

These are the many facets of Damon all wrapped up into one. The past, the present, and the potential future.
Everything is so hazy. Debate made him lose that sense of self. How will he ever get it back? He’s among the greatest in society, but at what cost?
A concept artwork based on Damon’s given backstory and my interpretation of his character. Honestly, I felt disappointed with his blackmail reveal. I wish the writers made it about his insecurities or his life before he became a debater. In my opinion, I think that Damon had so much potential as a protagonist and I really looked forward to seeing his character arc as he learns to detach himself from his selfish, egotistical façade and eventually get along with the other killing game participants.
There was so much they could’ve done with his character from the hair dye lore to his inner conflict. I personally wasn’t a big fan of how Damon’s story ends with his sacrifice and all. So many unanswered questions, yet I’m super happy with what we got in game and I’m very grateful to have played PJEG despite its cancellation.
I have so many thoughts and ideas on rewriting his character arc. An AU is in the works, but I’m keeping my lips sealed. 🐍🐍🐍

thinking about vivant already and...
i don't trust nokor. i don't know what he could possibly pull (or have pulled) but he's just... vaguely fishy. the way he's so buddy-buddy with yuusuke all of a sudden??? i find it hard to believe that he's suddenly ok with yuusuke (a random guy to him mind you!) just appearing out of the blue as his brother one day and being Better than him. no way nokor got over those hard feelings from s1 that fast. you're up to something i know it
yes we all already know he never intended to be Friends with yuusuke or anything and that he has his own separate duties and goals. so of course he's up to something that isn't in yuusuke's interests. that's very much obvious and explicitly stated. they're not and never were Buddies.
but beyond that it's just... red flags going up... i just don't know what the whole deal is yet. but he's so weirdly friendly and it's bugging the hell out of me. like what the hell are you up to
