Adam: Oh yeah it'll be fine, I'm sure. Especially since there's going to be 3 adults

Adam: Indeed! I'm glad as well! Oh gosh yeah definitely not. I would probably beat myself up if he ended up injuring himself

Pat: shouldn't be too big of a deal, then. having three to watch one child and one baby seems like a breeze :p

Laura: i would never give you any reason to be jealous on purpose. there's no one like you and no one i love like you. 😘

Laura: and here i thought i was super easy to handle ;) oh can you now? very good, very good. i know you will, but i still want my donut though :P

dylan: it was a bit wild having a baby during the holidays, but it was also kind of nice as well? meant we were able to have a bit more of a lowkey holiday than normal.

dylan: thank you! and nah, i can't believe it. but she's really fucking amazing and i'm beyond excited that i am a dad. which is something that blows my mind.

dylan: glad to hear that you guys had such a great time! and yeah, it was just me, my ex-wife and her mom. her new man came around as well, but it was really chill. perfect first christmas for asmara if you ask me!

dylan: thank you, and i'll for sure let cindy know. thankfully she takes after her mom.

Pat: ahh, okay. lowkey can be nice. in the coming years, it hopefully means that everyone will be able to get together for her birthday, too!

Pat: haha yeah, sounds like it. were you able to take lots of pictures? it'll be nice for her to look back on it through pictures when she's older

feel like every guy does that with his significant other and they still go out and knock it out of the park with the gift. i’m glad she enjoyed everything you got her, i’m sure you put all the thought into them. that’s awesome you guys can work around schedules and stuff to make it work. most girls would not get along with the whole schedule of constantly moving. new year’s went amazing, got myself a midnight kiss and all. so i’m kind of happy with where we are. happy for you dude, seriously. you must love when she gets to be in the stands at the games.

Maybe girls are just better at gift giving... or at least the girls in my life are better at it! Some thought, sure. I guess I just know her well. Yeah, she's great. My previous relationship was horrible and she was so self-absorbed, so going from that to what I have now... there's no comparison. Ahh really? Congrats, man! With a special lady or was it just a random kiss? Oh, I do. She's been at all my games since we started dating! Even get a good luck kiss from her on the sidelines before every game.

Adam: Yeah. I'm a patient guy. Plus we're all going to Disney World sometime soon anyways, so I'll see her and the baby then at least

Adam: Yeah a motorcycle! A Harley Davidson no less. He thinks I'm batshit for buying him it, but he liked it nonetheless. I'm getting him some lessons so he doesn't kill himself riding it.

Pat: Really? That's be fun... might be a bit difficult with a baby at Disney, but I'm sure nothing that you couldn't handle!

Laura: just drained from practice?

Laura: the flight's not that long. so it's okay. plus, they both have little ones, so i don't want to take up too much of their time anyway. okay, baby. i can totally book a flight too though.

Pat: yeah, i guess. sorry, babe

Colton: as much as i love the nhl...i can't claim that we're the most accepting league, you know? sure, there's been strides made and it's better than it was but i genuinely don't know how some of the guys on my team would react if they knew, let along fans of the team. i'm not naive enough to think that everything would be magically all fine if i said anything. it's super complicated and i just don't how know it's all going to pan out in the end.

Colton: it's actually the coldest winter classic in nhl history! we have that dubious honor and it's for -sure- one of the coldest games i've ever played!

Colton: okay, that's super adorable. how did you guys meet?

Pat: yeah, no, that makes complete sense. if you come out, you want to be accepted and not get trash talked about it. i would hope that your teammates and fans would be supportive, but you're right, you never know. it's all about timing, and coming out when you feel comfortable with it.

Pat: holy shit, really?! kind of cool you got to play in it though! did you take a nice warm shower afterwards? haha

Laura: probably tuesday. but it's only going to be two days max.
