Just wanted to say that the president of Poland Andrzej Duda just signed smthg called “Karta Rodziny”, which basically states that the only true family and marriage is that of heterosexual people, further doubling down on refusing marriage equality and adoption. It will “save children from alien and harmful LGBT ideology” by baning public institutions of mentioning the “LGBT ideology”.

The things happening over in america are horrendous, but also making way for changes for the better. They’re making the whole world have a discussion about racism still woven into our societies.

But please. It’s pride month. My country, my people need this to be on the lips of the world.

11/06: Peaceful protest in Warsaw. Civic Coalition members and supporters (KO) tried to sabotage the protest by saying that it was organized by PiS. It was confirmed that the event is not affiliated with PiS in any way. 

12/06: Jacek Żalek, member of PiS said: “LGBT is an ideology, not people”. After that, the presenter, Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska, ended the discussion with Żalek.

13/06: In response to the situation with Żalek, Andrzej Duda, president of Poland said: “They’re trying to convince us that these are people and not an ideology. If anyone has any doubts whether it is an ideology or not, then they should research history and look at how LGBT movement was made. […] Best evidence that LGBT is an ideology is that some people that are homosexual don’t identify with the movement or the ideology.”

13/06: Przemysław Czarnek, member of PiS said: “We have to defend ourselves from the LGBT ideology and stop listening about human rights or equality. These people are not equal to normal people.“

LUCKILY SOMEONE WHO WAS STANDING UNDER THEM CAUGHT BABY BUSTER.

THAT MAN WAS HARRY HOUDINI.
